Have you been waiting forever for a plastic Abaddon model? One day we may get one from GW, but until then this metal-plastic conversion works just fine!
Longtime hobbyist Joe Carlson made this version a few years ago using the plastic terminator lord and Abaddon’s metal weapons. He’s currently leading my Chaos forces in continued battles against the hobby cats.
You can see the unmistakable Talon of Horus, Daemon Sword, and big-haired head here that pretty much make Abaddon, well Abaddon! These were the only metal bits used in this conversion.
From the back, it is more apparent that the base of the model is the current plastic Chaos Lord in terminator army, right down to the base bit itself.
From this angle, Abaddon looks very imposing as he leads his black Legionnaires on another conquest hopefully, this time to Vigilus! If you have missed all the rumors about new Chaos Models and possibly a new Abbadon as well, you can check them all out here.
