Forge World has a new batch of pre-orders out. Take a look at what’s on the way to the Horus Heresy/40k and LoTR with these next releases.
Forge World updated their pre-order section on their website. Lock in the Made-To-Order Lord of The Rings Middle Earth Strategy Battle characters or the new Ares Gunship for 30k/40k. Check out the details and let us know what you’ll be getting.
The Hobbit characters are MTO and the Gunship will be shipping on September 6, 2019.
MTO Hobbit Character Bundle $41
For one week, these normally event-exclusive models will be available as MTO for one week only. One important thing to note is that these will ship in about 60 days so keep that in mind before you reserve your batch of heroes. That being said, you’ll get these three models:
- 1x Bard the Bowman
- 1x Legolas Greenleaf, Prince of Mirkwood
- 1x Tauriel
Custodes Ares Gunship $445
The Ares is a potent terror weapon, bypassing enemy armies as it blazes over their lines in the shadow of its eclipse shields. Using its immensely destructive Arachnus magna-blaze cannon against the monuments and edifices which an enemy culture hold most dear to their hearts, it strikes a decisive blow against their will to wage war.
The Ares is a potent flyer that can bully just about anything it wants to shoot at. You can do mortal wounds with your Infernus Firebombs each turn and obliterate anything with multiple wounds using a flat 6+D3 damage cannon. This thing is essentially a flying Knight at T8 and 22 wounds. Combined with a 5++ invuln AND -1 to hit modifier, you should be able to wreak havoc.
If it wasn’t killy enough, it’s also got a 2+ BS and ignores Heavy. Essentially, you’ll be making all your shots. While it’s got a hefty price tag, it could also be a monster in-game.
