By Rob Baer | September 4th, 2020 | Categories: Games Workshop, Hobby Products, Warhammer 40k Rumors

After doing a little GW port scrying it looks like there’s yet another citadel paint handle on the way. Check out the latest on what was spotted.

We’ve done a little port scrying and we’ve noticed that there may be a new version of an old favorite on store shelves soon… Some kind of handle was mentioned once again. But you might already think GW has enough of those so what could another hobby handle bring to the hobby game?

Hobby Holder Vs. Citadel Paint Handle: Which Is Better …

Well let’s take a look:

GW Paint Handles: Another On The Way?

gw plastic handleWe have to be very clear on this here. Technically, it’s not listed as a “paint handle” but the only thing GW has released in any amount of time are these:

gw paint handleWe thought that GW might’ve hit the bottom of the painting handle well after they put robot arms on one and made an older version red. But they may have thought of another way to re-market the painting handle once again.

Or it could just be a restock too, it’s hard to tell for sure from these port manifests. 8 Pallets for 428 cartons of who knows how many handles in each carton does seem like a lot for just a “restock” though…

gw spray stickThis mystery handle could also be a redesigned version of their spray stick….because that’s technically a handle, right? Anyway, they could have also just as easily made this one another color or maybe made it easier to spray big models like Knights.

We can’t be for sure, but what we do know is that something just hit the ports and looks like it will be supplementing the hobby soon.
