These are strange times, and SEVERE allocations are on the way again for GW new releases Christmas battleforces, and codex books in December.
If you want to support your local store, you better get in line early! GW has been fairly stingy with the new releases as of late, either due to COVID complications or just a new business strategy. We just don’t know.
One thing is for sure, for the FOURTH week in a row, the allocations (especially for the Christmas Battleforces) to each store is not very large at all.
For now, though, let’s check out what goes on pre-order this week, and then take a look at how many of each will be available, and round it up with our thoughts on the matter…
SEVERE ALLOCATIONS FOR CHRISTMAS BATTLEFORCES
Disciples of Tzeentch – Fatesworn Host
Massed mortal infantry supported by a greater daemon of Tzeentch? We have a feeling this box is just what you’ve been planning on collecting…
Kharadron Overlords – Barak-Nar Skyfleet
Plunder the realms and turn a tidy profit with this airborne force of Kharadron Overlords, led by none other than Lord-Magnate Brokk Grungsson.
Gloomspite Gitz – Fungal Loonhorde
Loads of troggoths and loads of squigs – need we say more? This mix of heavy-hitters and cheap-and-cheerful infantry will please any fungus-loving Gloomspite Gitz fan.
Ogor Mawtribes – Meatgrinder Warglutt
This well-balanced army of ogors is ready to devour the realms, led by a Tyrant and supported by an Aleguzzler Gargant!

Space Marines – Interdiction Force
This set contains a highly mobile force of Vanguard units, including an Impulsor and an Invictor Tactical Warsuit, plus all the Phobos armour you could want!
Necrons – Eradication Legion
This box is a great way to expand on the contents of the Indomitus box or any of the starter sets, and it includes an imposing Triarch Stalker and a swift and deadly Doom Scythe!
Astra Militarum – Bastion Platoon
This solid collection of ground-pounding units, along with a few choice support vehicles, will form the core of a great collection. Feeling a bit heretical? Recruit them into a Genestealer Cult!
Chaos Space Marines – Decimation Warband
Stuffed with heavy infantry, a Chaos Lord to lead them, and a massive Maulerfiend (or Forgefiend) to offer support, this is a force with which to overthrow the galaxy.
T’au Empire – Starpulse Cadre
Loads of battlesuits, a variety of infantry, plus a Piranha for good measure! You can do a lot of Greater Good with this box.
Tyranids – Brood Swarm
Genestealers, Gargoyles, and a bunch of big beasties? This box is sure to sate your hunger… for a while.
We expect these Battleforces to go quickly, so start making plans to secure the ones you want and set a reminder for this coming Saturday when they go up for pre-order.

Codex Supplement: Blood Angels
The sons of Sanguinius have their day with a supplement covering their rich history, heraldry, and specialised units, alongside unique rules for the Blood Angels and some of their successor Chapters.
Blood Angels serve as the next major chapter release for Space Marines. As usual, we are getting a series of accessories releases, a collectors edition, and a few new models released alongside it.
Here’s the Collectors Edition, so if you are a big fan, be sure to get this version while you can.
Blood Angel Accessories
Datacards help keep track of all the new rules you might still have to learn without having to flip through the pages in the book, speeding up those first few crucial games while you are learning. While dice just offer a simple way to add some extra flair for you to show off your devotions to the army.
Blood Angels Combat Patrol
You’ll get a hard-hitting core of troops, a Librarian to lead them, an Impulsor, and a pair of Blood Angels upgrade frames to add battle honours.
This is a great way to start building your brand new Blood Angels force if you are building a new army or even expanding a current one. We also did a value breakdown on this set recently that you can check out at this link right here!
Death Company Intercessors
This is a 5 man intercessor kit with a Blood Angel upgrade sprue included. Death Company has just as many weapon options as before, so it may also be a good idea to scrouge your bits for those weapon bits.
Multipart Assault Intercessor
This multipart Assault Intercessor kit contains loads of new weapon options and poses, enough to build a full squad of 10, including several options for the Sergeant’s equipment.
This is a great re-release to finally get as one of the last Indomitus kits we were waiting to get released as a standalone multi-part kit.
Gladiator
Armed with one of three different load-outs to handle various opponents, there’s a Gladiator – or two, or even all three – to complement every army.
Each tank offers a different weapon and function, so hopefully, each is a good enough option to make the choice interesting. All three are in the box, you’ll just have to decide which you’ll assemble.

So How Many New Releases Are Stores Getting?
All other items include quite a large list! Looks like again 8 of each codex will be going to stores, and ONE of each battleforce.
If you want any of the items above, and plan on getting them from your store, get there on day one. Two of anything usually doesn’t last long, much less one.
Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with the online side of things. Because of this, stores here in the states aren’t getting very much of anything,
