GW revealed the new Eldar Kill Team Voidscarred Corsairs which will be the next Kill Team box but will have rules for 40k as well.
We saw rumors for a while that they would be getting their own unit and then we saw the leader at LVO. Now, we get to see what the whole kit will look like.
Warhammer Community unveiled the new models, but let’s first check out the rumors for them and the previous reveal we’ve seen.
So what’s waiting for you in the pages of this massive new 200-page codex? Let’s start with new ways to build the mixed-faction Aeldari armies of your dreams. Their race may be in decline, but they’re full of vibrant factions who can be called on for aid.
As well as rules for Asuryani Aeldari (that’s craftworlds to me and you), this new codex also has rules for fielding Harlequins – we’ll have more info on adding these deadly clowns to your armies later in the week. We saw the first Corsairs miniature at LVO, and you can also include them in an army. You can even dedicate yourself to the Aeldari god of death and take a Ynnari army – all using the same codex!

We’ll be going over these two boxes today, and since they are out of the Nachmund Kill Team Starter Set, we have an idea of how it will all go together!
Chaos Legionaries Instructions
As you can see, each guy comes with a bunch of different poses, and you could easily magnetize them. This might be good since we don’t know about the new codex. Still, it will take a lot of time to do it with each one, and Rob doesn’t really think it’s worth it for him.
How they built the weapons makes them very hard to magnetize if you want all the special weapons. However, you could do it if you had a bunch of extra arms. The Chaincannon looks like it could be hard to build, especially if it doesn’t have nubs for everything, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
Eldar Void Scarred Instructions
The Eldar arms look magnetizable and are compatible with the new Guardians bits. They also look even easier than the Guardians, but we’ll have to see how it goes.
They have a ton of cool posing options and really a lot of weapon choices as well. So overall, just a cool kit from the looks of it.
Sprues
The Eldar sprues are just full of bits and tons of options! They all are super detailed, and it’s almost hard to know where to start considering they have so many options. You can do a ton of stuff, and you should have plenty of leftovers for your other kitbashes.
This is the new Chaos sprue, we won’t take a look at the other one because we’ve already unboxed those. It’s not huge but does really add some variety to the sprue.
Built Minis
The Soulweaver is actually really cool. Obviously, we went sort of fast here, so there are some nubs, so just be sure to file them down. There is some gapping here and there, but if you use the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, you should be good to go.
After looking at the minis, you could easily use all the Guardian parts for them and the other way around as well. You could make a ton of cool squads by mixing and matching with the bits combined.
All the models are really unique, with just enough detail to let you paint them and still show off your skills.
You could really just do so much with this kit and a Guardian kit or two. This mini has such an old-school Necromunda feel, so Rob really likes it. You could also use the extra bits for this to make a couple of Warlocks and save some cash.
This was the main mini Rob was worried about, and there really is no indication of where to put the ammo feed or the back piece, so a little frustrating but nothing too bad overall.
All the other bits add a ton of flavor to the kit and look really detailed. Besides the first Chaos mini, nothing was really that hard to build. The Chaos kit is nice with an upgrade sprue, but the extra price is not our favorite.

Kill Team Corsairs
The newest addition to the Warhammer 40k: Kill Team line is a classic faction of miniatures, the Corsairs.
The Corsair featured here is absolutely dripping in both Drukhari and Eldar flavor, and we highly anticipate his crew’s entry to the Kill Team scene.
We had heard the rumors of new corsair models for Eldar coming in a Kill Team box, and this looks to be it.
GW Reveals Eldar Kill Team Voidscarred Corsairs
This glorious new plastic kit contains a host of options – as with the other kill teams released so far, such as the Ork Kommandos and Veteran Guardsmen – allowing you to build a dizzying array of individual fighters. For example, the Starstorm Duellist is a prideful pirate packing a pair of powerful pistols – and unlike the clumsy landlubbers in other kill teams, they can even blast away at Engagement Range thanks to their Quick on the Trigger ability.

They have a ton of options and will just make for a really cool squad! It would be nice if you get more than one of each weapon option because, for a 40k game, they may prove hard to equip.
The Corsairs will first be available in the forthcoming Kill Team: Nachmund boxed set, which continues the narrative of the current Warhammer 40,000 season. As we hinted on Monday, Corsairs will also have rules in the truly comprehensive Codex: Aeldari.
While they look dope for sure, here is hoping we don’t have to wait as many months for this to come out on its own as we did with the Orks and DKoK.
The wide variety of weapons is really cool, and they all look pretty awesome and perfectly in-between Eldar and Drukhari, plus even have a Wraith Cannon!
Other than that, though, we think Eldar players will be happy so far with this tidal wave of news and rumors for all things Aeldari. Use the links below to check out our other coverage:
