These Horus Ascended “Daemon” Primarch Rules Are Brutal!

Horus Heresy Daemon Primarch Ascendant rulesThese new Horus Ascended “Daemon” Primarch Heresy rules have been spotted when he transforms with the Power of Chaos Eternal, he gets brutal!

We’ve seen a lot of the Primarchs leaked for the Loyalists, but now the Chaos ones are starting to pop up as well. This time around it’s for the one who started it all! So with the game named after him, you better expect his rules to be insane. Plus, him being able to ascend is a cool idea and when he does, the rules for Horus make him stronger than ever!

Horus Ascended “Daemon” Primarch Horus Heresy Rules Are Brutal!

These were spotted on Trident Wargaming and are from the the Liber Hereticus – Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book.

Horus RulesHorus comes in at a whopping 600 points (Lorgar is around 400 for reference), so you know these are going to be some insane “base” rules! First up, his statline is just out of this world good, and when he ascends, they only get better!

But oh yeah, you read that right, when Horus ascended to Daemon Primarch status he’s 1,000 points for the model! Then, he gives a giant army-wide buff to give everyone +1 LD and Stubborn.

Horus Rules 1First up once a game, you get an extra reaction in every phase! This can really turn into a giant swing turn where you just totally take the opponent by surprise and deal an insane amount of damage.  Then, he can never be hit on better than a 4+ and be able to split his attacks however he wants. On top of that, he will be hard to kill with a 2+/3+.

Not to mention he has a Strength 10 Maul with AP2, Brutal, and Sunder! Lastly, his Warmaster’s Talon is also super strong.

Horus Rules 2Now, let’s see what you get for ascending and gaining the power of Chaos Eternal. First, he gets a second life, albeit with one wound, but still, he can come back into play and keep rampaging! Then, you can bump him up to 10 S and T once per game. While you do have to take Perils for it, however, you can pass those off!

Then, you can then corrupt any infantry, cavalry, or Dreads in your army for +25 points when he is ascended. Lastly, he also gains a 4+ FNP (giving him a 2+/3+/4+ and comes back with one wound, so basically “unkillable”), Rage (3), A Dark Fate, The Power of Chaos Eternal, and the Spreading Corruption.

So yeah, quite the host of rules for one model who gains quite a slew of abilities for being better than a Daemon Primarch with the power of Chaos Eternal.
