After almost 22 years, Peachy, aka Chris Peach, has left Games Workshop and is now joining The Painting Phase team!
In a recent video, Peachy talked about his time with Games Workshop on their painting team and what he will do next. This feels like a big change for GW, considering he was probably the most known presenter left there, so it will be interesting to see where the company goes from here with their presenters.

He goes pretty in-depth in the interview into his mindset on painting (and some good tips on speed), what he thinks about working at GW, what other games he plays, and how he’s going to fit in with the Painting Phase team.

The interview is about an hour long, but if you really like Peachy, or want to learn more about how army painting works within GW, what methods he uses to paint fast, and plenty more, it’s definitely worth a listen! Basically, though, after nearly 22 years with Games Workshop, he is leaving the company and joining a new team!
If you were wondering what type of content he is going to be doing with The Painting Phase Team, he already has a video out about speed painting Kroot! He even tells a story in the interview about painting 142 Uruk-hais in like a day or so, so obviously, he can paint really fast to a great standard!
If you want your Kroot painted and on the tabletop as fast as you can, this is probably the video for you! He shows how to paint 12 Kroot in just 2.5 hours, so while this is his first real video with them, it will give you a great idea of how it’s all going to run, the set-up, etc… However, this isn’t even everything going on.
They have also set up a Patreon where you can get exclusive lessons and even some 1-on-1 painting lessons.
