If you want some big-brained bugs that can unleash the warp on your enemies, the new 40k Tyranids Neurotyrant rules are perfect!

GW has been pumping out the new 10th Edtion rules, and we’ve already seen the army-wide rules for Tyrranids, which you can check out here. However, it’s still nice to see what the new models in the Leviathan box will do, as it’s nice to know what the minis can do before you spend cash on them!

GW Reveals New 40k Tyranids Neurotyrant Rules For 10th Edition!

The new rules come from Warhammer Community.

The vast, infallible judgement of the Hive Mind has seen fit to swell the mind of this creature to immense proportions, and all that grey matter makes it both a formidable psyker and a perfect node.

The model itself is really cool, and we’ll have to wait and see what the smaller brain bugs do, unfortunately.

Their unique cerebral structure acts as a focal point for the Shadow in the Warp, increasing the mental pressure exuded by the Hive Mind until it reaches an excruciating level, dominating their prey with Psychic Terror.

This is huge, as it’s a full army-wide NERF to your enemy, and with more LD tests, this should have a considerable impact.

Each Neurotyrant acts as a potent Synaptic Relay, enabling two units within 12” to act as if they are within Synapse Range until the start of your next Command phase, no matter where they end up. Your deadliest melee units can stretch their legs and hunt down troublesome enemies.

This really lets you run your combat units forward without much regard for Synapse units in range, which is always nice. However, we were hoping for a datasheet or some attacks, but it looks like this is all we’ll get this time around.
