It’s time to upgrade your heroes, as a new Loyalist Champion miniature is coming soon to the Horus Heresy line-up!
It looks like Horus Heresy Thursdays are back, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen a new miniature for the game! This time it’s only for the loyalist side, and it seems to be Legion generic, meaning you can use this for most of your armies.
If you’ve been needing to cut off some heads a little more efficiently, this will be the mini for you! Usually, when they preview something like this, it is released pretty soon after, so hopefully, we don’t have too long to wait.
Just keep in mind they say this will be in resin; just something to know.
The Loyalist Champion Coming Soon to Horus Heresy!
The new miniature comes from Warhammer Community.
The finest blades of each Legion are often elevated to the level of Champions, receiving the finest armour available, and a very nice weapon to show off to all their battle brothers. These Champions of the Legion are chosen for their martial prowess, and must uphold the honour of their Chapter and Company in battle. They are equipped with their Legion’s finest weapons and armour and put them to use for one simple task – seeking out the foe’s mightiest warriors, and slaying them in glorious duels.
The model is looks so dope, and the blade looks thirsty for some traitors! If you want to achieve a place in the history books, be sure to charge him into the enemy’s biggest, baddest models!
This arsenal includes a paragon blade, a weapon of consummate artistry or perhaps a relic from the Dark Age of Technology. In the case of the Loyalist Champion, that means a massive two-handed sword nearly as tall as a Space Marine, expertly designed to lop heads off.
This resin miniature also comes with a combi-melta – with a choice of a bare head or helmet, both of which sport a laurel wreath which marks him out as a very special boy.
It’s nice to get a second head option, but other than that, this looks to be the pose you will get. Either way, the model looks cool and should be an excellent addition to your forces!
