New Necromunda, Horus Heresy, & More: Pre-Order Pricing & Links

GW redid the rulebook for Necromunda and didn’t follow up with much, so it’s nice to see more significant releases on the way now!

Necromunda: The Aranthian Succession – Ruins of Jardlan Retail Price: $50 €40 £30

Click on these links to order yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming| Element Games (UK) | eBay | or |Games Workshop’s Store

Necromunda Arachni-rigs

House Helmawr has fallen! As a living god takes the throne of Necromunda, Lady Haera fights her way to the Dust Wall and the loyal Enforcers stationed there. As the Ash Waste Nomad tribes gather for a massive assault on the Ironhead Squat holds, gangs rush to win favour with House Aranthus, capture the last Helmawr heir, or simply survive the darkness rising from below Hive Secundus.

This narrative expansion follows on from the planet-changing events in Necromunda: The Aranthian Succession – The Vaults of Temenos, and continues the Succession Campaign from that book. It also introduces new rules to add even more variety, scope and excitement to your battles on Necromunda.

This is an expansion to Necromunda – you’ll need a copy of the Necromunda: Ash Wastes Rulebook (or the Necromunda: Core Rulebook and Book of the Outlands supplement) to use the contents of this book.

New supplements bring new ways to play, which is always refreshing. Plus, with new lore, there is a lot to look forward to if you are a fan.

Van Saar Ash Wastes Arachni-rig Retail Price: $50 €40 £30

Click on these links to order yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming| Element Games (UK) | eBay | or |Games Workshop’s Store

Necromunda Arachni-rigs 2

Each Ash Wastes Arachni-rig can be assembled with a closed canopy, or an open canopy revealing the pilot, who comes with two different heads. They’re posed leaping through the air – adventurous hobbyists can also remove the pegs from joints in the arms and legs, allowing you to adjust the pose further.

This set comprises 120 plastic components, and comes with 2x Citadel 50mm Round Bases with flying stems. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

These are really cool-looking, and with them in plastic, what’s not to love? Plus, even if you don’t play Necromunda, these could be used for all kinds of conversions. We would just recommend trying to magnetize those flight stands, as they could be a pain to store.

They have a decent number of options and should add some serious speed to your gang.

Van Saar Gang Tactics Card Pack and Van Saar Vehicle Gang Tactics Pack $20 €15 £12.50 Each (Direct From GW Webstore)

van saar tactic cards

This pair of card packs allows you to command your House Van Saar gangers in the heat of battle. The Gang Tactics pack is a reprint of the second Van Saar Tactics Card Pack, and includes 26 cards with additional tactics and abilities, as well as blank cards you can use to record important statistics. The Vehicle Tactics pack features 26 new cards (including blank vehicle cards) and allows your gangs to utilise various vehicles for use in the underhive and ash wastes.

Tactic cards are pretty convenient, especially when picking up on new rules to smooth out the learning curve.

Underhive Graffiti Transfer Sheet $35 €29 £22 (Direct From GW Webstore)

Underhive Graffiti Transfer Sheet

This transfer sheet contains 292 individual high-quality, full-colour waterslide transfers, including 3 strips of chevrons and 4 strips of hazard stripes. It includes a variety of graffiti icons for each of the House gangs, as well as the Corpse-Grinder Cults, Palanite Enforcers, and the Necromundan skull. You’ll also find industrial signage, sector codes, ‘motivational’ slogans, arrows, hazard warnings, voltage symbols, and a host of other decals to personalise your collection.

New transfers equal new hobby options, which is always a good thing if you’re into that and want some extra customization.

Mind-Locked Wyrd and Cephalopod Spektors: $72

GW Previews Necromunda

Cast in Forge World resin, Mind-locked Wyrds are unsanctioned psykers who have been broken to the will of the Psi-Syndica and its shadowy allies. House Delaque are particularly favoured partners of this psychic cartel, and employ Mind-locked Wyrds alongside their engineered creations – such as the Cephalopod Spektors, cybernetic watchdogs built around fragment-brains cloned from their bonded master.

GW Previews Necromunda 2

This wyrd is pretty unique, making for a great new hobby option and probably a solid model to field in Necromunda.

Van Saar Ash Wastes Upgrades: $31

Van Saar Ash Wastes Upgrades

Kit your high-tech House Van Saar members with all the gear needed to slightly improve their chances in the ash wastes of Necromunda. This Forge World Resin upgrade kit contains 30 components such as backpacks, heads, and flasks to make your gangers more in-theme and appropriately dressed when fighting in the ash wastes.

Make your models more unique (and possibly more accurate) with these simple bit swaps.

The First Marshal is a true force to be reckoned with – she’s an impressive centrepiece for any collection, and will stand out as a mighty warmaster in even the largest Cities of Sigmar army.

New Necromunda, Horus Heresy: Pre-Order Pricing & Links

Well, we all knew the end of Forge World was coming eventually, but now it is 100% confirmed by Games Workshop.

forge world is dead

It is sad to see, but it looks like the age of Forge World has ended, and the time of Expert Kits is here.   It’s interesting how they are deciding what is what; is there actually a difference between an Expert Kit and 15+ Resin?

Either way, GW has officially killed off the term Forge World from almost everything, as hobbyists will no longer buy any Forge World branded products. However, it is nice to have everything available for sale in one place.

White Dwarf – Issue 494

If you’ve picked up any of the recently released Space Marine kits like the Company Heroes or Sternguard Veterans, you may have noticed a certain lesser-known chapter on the transfer sheet – the Raptors. As experts in clandestine warfare, they revel in their obscurity, but in the next issue of White Dwarf, you’ll have rare access inside this secretive chapter’s records with the return of Index Astartes.

Elsewhere, the White Dwarf Bunker invites you to join the Monsters and Machines painting challenge, a water-themed battlepack continues the Warhammer Age of Sigmar campaign, and four warbands from Warhammer Underworlds: Nethermaze get Bladeborn rules for Warcry.

White Dwarf always brings in some good content if you are interested in analog content or want to see a little bit of everything Warhammer has to offer.

So, gear up, stand tall, and embrace the latest new releases from Games Workshop.
