New AoS Darkoath Army Set: Value & Pricing

Darkoath Army Set

It truly is a host – this huge launch box contains 27 miniatures, a battletome supplement, four warscroll cards, and all the tokens needed for any budding follower of the Dark Gods to re-reclaim the Realms from the Azyrite lickspittles.

We originally estimated a $200 price point for this box, as the last two army set boxes have been that price. It turns out Games Workshop did keep the price the same as their 2023 army boxes, perhaps because there are approximately the same number of miniatures inside.

Is the Box Worth It?

There’s a chance this goes for less than our estimates, and if it does, then there will be even more value! However, even at the $200 price, you still save a lot, get a bunch of miniatures, and get early access to the new army rules. If you want to run an army dedicated to the barbarians, this is going to be a great pickup.

What to Buy Next For Darkoath

Darkoath Army Set 6That’s really hard to say right now. GW hasn’t shown off any rules quite yet, and we don’t know how much else they will release for the army. Especially considering nothing is really even out yet, we don’t know exactly how they will mesh with Slaves to Darkness or the rest of Chaos in general.

Either way, don’t miss your chance to claim the Darkoath Army Set and unleash the might of Chaos upon the Mortal Realms. With its stunning miniatures, battletome supplement, and gaming aides, this collection box should be a good pickup for any Warhammer Age of Sigmar hobbyist.
