9th Edition Indomitus 40k Box Set Pricing & Value

9th-edition-box-set-contentsWe’ve got a pretty good guess on how much the pricing for the 9th Edition 40k Idomintus Box Set pricing and how much value will be inside.

A few days ago, we saw GW make an announcement that they were giving away mystery boxes to 10 lucky hobbyists.

Based on the artwork of the mystery box and the timing of the 9th Edition Box Set previews, we’re guessing that this “mystery” box is actually a 9th Editon starter that they’ll be handing out, just like they did with the Sisters of Battle squads last fall.

From that deduction, we’ll be using the price point of $200 as the “unofficial” USD cost for the box. Now let’s jump into the value.

Editor’s Note: $200 is now the confirmed cost of the Indomitus Box

9th Edition Indomitus Box: $200 (confirmed)

Total Estimated Value of Both Halves: $650 +Rulebook ($60)?

Total Projected Value: $710

($355.50 split between both factions)

The Value Might Seem High, But Is It Really?

necrons hor wallAfter seeing prices on GW’s products go up three times over the past few years, it’s not surprising to see a crazy high “value” turn up on this box.

Plus, with this being a new Edition starter and a faction inside getting completely overhauled, the value might not be too far off, as the Dark Imperium started set had a similarly high value back in 2017 as well!

We still have yet to see what all of the prices on the new Necron kits will be, as this seems to be the biggest grey area out of the whole box.
