With the Dark Imperium Box Set finally here, we are taking an in-depth look at the Primaris and Death Guard miniatures that come inside it!
The long wait is over and the Dark imperium Box Set is finally here. Today we’re hitting you with our thoughts on the 53 miniatures that come included with the box set. Those 53 are split into 22 Primaris Space Marines and 31 Death Guard miniatures. These figures come on eight sprues in total and are easy to assemble with variable stances.
The sprues are easy to identify and the instructions reference both sprue and location on said sprue where a miniature can be found. The value of this box set cannot be emphasized enough.
Bases on current pricing of Games Workshop miniatures, here is an idea of what the possible retail values for all of these minaitures could end up being, if GW releases them seperately in kits like they did with the Calth and Prospero core sets.

Remember folks these are just best guess pricing (besides the rulebook itself) and at the end of the day it’s anyone’s guess what these models would go for individually on the secondary market OR from GW themselves.
One of the more difficult miniatures to clip out and assemble will be the Foetid Bloat Drone. Its pieces are spread out on the sprue and the core of the mini will be two large side pieces that will be held in place by its front or “facial” plate..
Be sure to get your glue in the right spots for an extra good seal. The upswing of this is that, at least, ,mostly all the pieces for each mini are on the SAME sprue.

You can play a game using this, and only this; but the advanced rules are designed to add huge flexibility and depth, meaning you can play your games the way you want to, with Open Play, Narrative Play and Matched play options.
