This multipart plastic kit builds a Norn Emissary, a psychic monster tailored to overcome all resistance. Stood atop a ruined structure covered in Tyranid growths, the Emissary shreds all opposition with massive scything talons and cruel, dextrous claws, its visible brain tissue suffused with unnatural power. The Norn Emissary stands amongst the larger creatures in the Tyranids range, towering above even a Hive Tyrant – it’s an excellent centrepiece model, loaded with alien detail to show off your painting skills. This pack of new and updated Datasheet Cards complements Codex: Tyranids. With all of your detachment rules occupying just a single double-page spread, these cards speed up your games with useful unit information at hand without needing to leaf through the Codex. These cards supersede the index cards available online.

Track all your new rules easier with these new datasheet cards that appear to be the same size as Index cards. From the looks of it, they will also replace the free index cards for the Tyranids as well!

Dawnbringers: Book II – Reign of the Brute Retail Price: $50 €40 £30 (Collectors $90)

The story of the Twin-Tailed Crusade continues in Dawnbringers: Book II, as the brave soldiers of Hammerhal strike out across Aqshy and Ghyran. This time they’ll have some titanic foes to deal with, as one branch clashes head-on with Gargant King Brodd – seeking vengeance for the death of his father – while the other tangles with Trugg the Troggoth King.

Inside this 96-page hardback book you’ll find:
– A high-stakes, action-filled narrative spread across both Aqshy and Ghyran, as the Twin-Tailed Crusade encounters foes that are vast, ancient, and angry

The new big baddie on the block, Trugg the Troggoth King, looks to come locked behind a paywall of six Rockgut Troggoths this week.

While Trugg the Troggoth King will eventually be available on his own, this looks to be the only way to get him currently. Always remember to vote with your hobby dollars if this box is a value or a pass for you.

Rabble-rowza Retail Price: $35 €27 £21

This kit comprises 10 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

Speaking of paywalls, the first character unlocked from summer 2023’s Regiment of Renowns, the Rabble Rowza is now available separately from the Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz box four months after that set’s release.

Gloomspite Gitz Dice Set Retail Price: $40 €32.50 £25

Each pack contains 20 yellow plastic dice with the emblem of the Bad Moon embossed in black ink – just what the Loonboss ordered.

Battletome Supplement Ironjawz (FREE DOWNLOAD)

A host of new Ironjawz are coming to pre-order on Saturday. Their rules can be found inside the new Dawnbringers book, but in case you aren’t getting your hands on a copy this week, we’ve got you covered with a free PDF download of Battletome Supplement: Ironjawz. This contains all eight warscrolls, from Ardboys with their new weapon options to the brutal Tuskboss on Maw-grunta.

Perhaps best of all, there will be a free Iron Jaws Battletome Supplement PDF for all the new minis included, but we assume there will be a new battletome at some point.

These guys are just a huge upgrade from the old Black Orcs kits from Warhammer Fantasy! There will be a few options in the kit, so hopefully, there will be plenty of extra bits.

Weirdbrute Wrekkaz & Brute Ragerz Retail Price: $60 €45 £35

This set can alternatively build three Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, clad in terrifying war-masks.

These Orruks can run and charge in the same turn and are just great at smashing through the enemy!

Sometimes, the storm of Waaagh! energy that swirls around an orruk battle can send some boyz off the deep end, and they end up in a unit of Weirdbrute Wrekkaz. The only thing they’re good for is bolting on an iron mask and swinging a heavy ball-and-chain, which is a task their fellow Ironjawz are only too happy to set them to.

This kit can also be built as the Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, and they harness all the magical energy to smash the enemy. They mention they are like Fanatics, so perfect for smashing through hordes of enemy infantry.

Zoggrok Anvilsmasha Retail Price: $45 €35 £27.50

This kit comprises 20 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 50mm Round Base and a Citadel 25mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

First up, this newly revealed kit will have two build options. The model shown is focused all on strength, and supposedly, he can wallop someone so hard he can turn off their ward saves!

Overall, this looks to be a decent box with a wide range of minis and options if you are just starting Orruks and want some of the Kruelboyz miniatures.

With the Troggoth King emerging, riled and ready for battle, it’s clear that tumultuous times lie ahead for any who dare oppose them.

You’ve got the team and you’ve assembled the star players, so you’re probably going to need rules for them. Spike! Journal 16 contains all that and more – it’s a one-stop shop for all things Vampire in Blood Bowl, including rules, tactics, lore, and more.

If you plan on getting the new team, be sure to pick up Spike for their rules!

Complete the vampiric look with these accessories: a double-sided pitch and dugout set (in which you play in a Vampire’s castle with some very flammable carpet), some chic dice for the proper obeisances to Nuffle, and a card set which includes two types of Special Play, reference cards, Star Player cards, and blank positional cards to record your on team.

It wouldn’t be a Blood Bowl release without new faction flair, like a pitch and dice to match.

10th Edition Space Marines New Releases

Some of these box sets are still holdovers from 9th Edition, so it’s nice to finally see them get their own separate kits. However, most new pre-orders are the new releases revealed at the 2023 Nova Open! Perhaps, best of all, a new codex is here, and it’s a giant 216-page book.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Space Marine Captain equipped with a jump pack, a flying commander of the Adeptus Astartes. He’s armed with an arsenal of aggressive weapons – you can equip him with a chainsword, relic blade, or power fist, alongside a heavy bolt pistol, hand flamer, or plasma pistol. You’ll also find a choice of bare head with bionics or a helmet with a laurel wreath.

Jump Pack Captains are very popular with particular sub-faction Space Marines, so it’ll be interesting to see if this kit gets more play as those factions get their supplements!

This multipart plastic kit builds one Space Marine Chaplain clad in durable Terminator armour. This inspiring orator stomps into battle, crushing skulls with a crozius arcanum – his deadly staff of office. In his other hand, he carries either a shell-spitting storm bolter or a massive bone-bedecked relic shield, offering him further protection in battle. The kit also offers the choice of a helmet or a bare head with rebreather, both in the skeletal style of the Chaplains, as well as two different heads for the crozius.

Chalain’s are a core support model for Space Marines, so getting their Terminator version as a separate release might be a boon depending on the rules!

This multipart plastic kit builds a Space Marine Captain and four Company Heroes to accompany him into battle. You can arm the Captain with a master-crafted bolter, plasma pistol, or neo-volkite pistol in one hand, and a power fist or power sword in the other. His retinue includes a Company Champion armed with a two-handed power sword, an Ancient bearing aloft an ornate banner, and two Company Veterans carrying master-crafted firearms – one with a bolt rifle, the other with a heavy bolter.

Each of these warriors are draped in decorations and honours befitting their elite status, and can be built with bare heads or helmets.
