AoS 4th Edition Sylvaneth Rules
Here is the latest on the Sylvaneth rules for the 4th Edition Age of Sigmar from Warhammer Community. The Sylvaneth owe their existence to Alarielle the Everqueen, one of the rare elven survivors from the World-that-Was. When the realms came together, Alarielle woke up in Ghyran, charged with divine power.
She planted soulpods—saved elven souls—in fertile groves, bringing her followers back to life. As unpredictable as the changing seasons, the Sylvaneth can seem capricious and aloof to their more human-like allies in the forces of Order.

Battle Traits
In battle, the Sylvaneth have a few tricks up their leafy sleeves. They use their Awakened Wyldwoods to Walk the Hidden Paths, zipping from one grove to another no matter how far apart they are.
It’s like teleportation, but with more bark and leaves! Once they’re in position, they Strike and Fade through these spirit paths, sneaking right into the heart of enemy lines or ambushing their flanks.
Plus, these tree-huggers have a secret weapon: they draw nourishment from the trees, with their Endless Growth ability healing units by D3 Health each when they’re chilling within 6 inches of a tree. Nature really does have their back!
Battle Formations
The Sylvaneth hit the battlefield in four distinct formations, each playing to their unique strengths. First up, the Lords of the Clan are mighty Treelords whose Healing Song ensures a solid Heal (3) from Awakened Wyldwoods—nature’s own medics!
Next, the smaller forest spirits fiercely defend their homes with a bloodthirsty passion. Meanwhile, the malevolent outcasts scare the daylights out of their enemies.
Arcana & Incantations
The Lore of the Deepwood gives Sylvaneth Wizards the ability to wield nature’s fury. With these powerful energies, they can use the Treesong to either summon a brand-new Awakened Wyldwood or rejuvenate existing ones if there are already three on the battlefield.
But that’s not all—these wizards can also call upon vengeful spirits to guide their strikes right to the target and summon writhing masses of tendrils to strangle and constrict their enemies. Talk about a forest with a mean streak!
4th Edition AoS Rules: Sylvaneth Warscrolls
Alarielle the Everqueen
When things get really dire, Alarielle the Everqueen herself joins the fray atop her trusty Wardroth Beetle. She unleashes waves of healing magic on her allies while purging corruption from the land.
Her power, known as the Lifebloom, either supercharges her spellcasting or heals her wounds. With the energies of the Rite of Life at her command, she can resurrect fallen Sylvaneth units (including herself) within range of an Awakened Wyldwood.
Spirits of Durthu
Alarielle’s ambassadors and bodyguards in the Mortal Realms are the formidable Sons of Durthu. These mighty Spirits of Durthu wield guardian swords, masterfully crafted to dominate any Titanic Duel against enemy monsters.
Each of them is a Wrathful Guardian, fiercely defending the Sylvaneth’s sacred domains and becoming even more ferocious when battling near an Awakened Wyldwood.
Spite-Revenants
Even scarier than the mighty Treelords are the Spite-Revenants. These shrieking nightmares can’t join in the spirit-song, so they vent their rage by furiously slashing with bark talons that cut through flesh and armor like a hot knife through butter.
Their terrifying appearance and scything weapons are matched by their wailing voices. These disharmonious melodies, filled with Unbridled Malice, make enemies falter, even when their leaders are barking orders at them. It’s a cacophony of chaos!
Auralan Wardens
Not all forest folk are outcasts; some still look like the valiant defenders of the forests from the World-that-Was. Meet the Spiterider Lancers, who gallop into battle on dragonspites that managed to survive that world’s grand finale.
These shock cavalry are Thrumming With Life, healing wounds faster than you can say “ouch!” Their lightning-fast Descent of the Spiteriders catches enemies off guard, giving these insectoid cavaliers the ultimate strike-first advantage. It’s like getting hit by a nature-powered freight train!

To cleanse their enemies and restore the natural order, the Sylvaneth harness different aspects of Alarielle’s power. Take the warlike Summer Aspect, for instance, which fires up the warriors of the Bitterbark Copse Spearhead.
“Spearhead” is a standalone game that’s just right for diving into epic battles in Age of Sigmar. It’s small enough to fit on a kitchen or coffee table, and you only need one Spearhead box to get the games going for the 4th Edition.
The best part? You can snag free downloads with different rules, warscrolls, and objectives.
In conclusion, the Sylvaneth bring a natural and vengeful playstyle to the wilds of 4th Edition Age of Sigmar.
