Is It Worth It?
This box actually has pretty subpar value. Compared with the more recent boxes, they generally try to give about $65-70 in value, but this doesn’t even have $55. However, the Hrothgorn’s Mantrappers box is sold out on GW’s store and goes for about $80 on the secondary market, so there is some intrinsic value there if you really want the models.
The fact that you get half a Gnoblars box is also strange. Give us the extra $20 in value from that box, and this is on par with the other boxes! Either way, this is a decent way to get an Ogor Mawtribes force on the table quickly if this is the only bundle you have access to.
How Many Points Is This?
In Age of Sigmar 4th edition, this box hits with about 850 points (the most we’ve seen so far). But, as you know, the tides of the Mortal Realms are ever-shifting, and with the latest updates, that number could quickly fluctuate.

While this box doesn’t have as much in terms of raw value, it contains a ton of points! So, you probably want to grab some cheaper Ogor infantry, some more shooting (either Leadbelchers or more War Machines), and plenty of magic to propel your warriors forward!
Final Thoughts on the Scrapglutt Spearhead
The Scrapglutt Spearhead box is a bit of a mixed bag of meat. You’re getting a decent chunk of points—850 is nothing to sneeze at—but the raw dollar value is trailing behind its Spearhead cousins. It’s like showing up to a potluck with a solid dish, but forgetting the extra side that would’ve really sealed the deal. Still, for Ogor players itching to get rolling fast (or just desperate to get their grubby mitts on Hrothgorn’s crew), it’s a solid launchpad.
Would we have liked a full unit of Gnoblars instead of a half-scoop? Absolutely. But this is Age of Sigmar—nothing ever comes easy, especially not value boxes. If this is your first taste of Ogor goodness or you’re looking to plug some gaps in your warband, it’s not a bad pickup. Just don’t expect it to win the “best bang for your buck” trophy at the Spearhead Awards.
