It’s happening! The new Sylvaneth release lineup has been spotted as they are next faction to be getting a Battletome. Check out the latest!
Coming from Well of Eternity on Facebook, we’ve got a first detailed look at 2.0 Sylvaneth support. From a new book to models, dice, and even warscrolls, exciting times are coming back to back for AoS!
Sylvaneth Battletome, Warscrolls, & More SPOTTED
We’re not sure about the background knowledge of this pic, but it looks to be at some kind of gaming store displaying what’s new to the tabletop. The screen is kind of small, but we can make out new a new Sylvaneth Battletome, warscroll cards, dice, the Gladewyrm, and some kind of floating tree on a base. It’s probably another endless spell, but if the rumors are to be believed, thier new terrain piece.
The Sylvaneth were mentioned as coming very soon from an industry insider. But that’s not all. Along with the Battletome, the tree peoples should be getting the usual GW faction treatment of a new Terrain piece, warscroll cards, dice, and supposedly at least one new models as well.
Old Sylvaneth Units get better stats
The beefy Kurnoth Hunters are getting an update as well. Greatbows are going to be getting an extra shot when they attack.
Greatswords are going to come with an ability built into the weapon that allows them to do a mortal wound on top of any normal damage for every wound of a 6+.
Arch Revenant Stats Spotted
With the new unit out of the Looncurse Box Set, this guy is going to be fast and come with a ton of rules. They don’t all fit on a single page! Although he only has 5 wounds, he does come with a 12″ movement and a 4+ save which is nice. The crescent shield lets the player decide each turn if they will be rerolling saves or hits of 1. Kurnoth Hunters are also going to be rerolling all hit rolls of 1 while they’re within 12″ of this guy. Not too shabby any way you look at it when you hit on 3’s for the stock troops!
Finally, he’s got a “get out of jail free card” by having the ability to ignore a wound or mortal wound at the cost of its bug armor on his back. You’ll lose the FLY keyword and all of your D3 damage attacks. But hey, if it means you aren’t losing your general it’s worth it, right?
