AoS 4th Edition Sons of Behemat Rules

Sons of Behemat

Here is the latest on the Sons of Behemat rules for the 4th Edition Age of Sigmar from Warhammer Community. These colossal beings, known as the Sons of Behemat, pay tribute to their godbeast ancestor and act like walking natural disasters, striking fear into the hearts of the realms’ inhabitants, be they Sigmarite faithful or Darkoath tribes.

Despite their size and strength, life as a gargant isn’t all fun and games. They’re generally hated, always exposed to the elements, and perpetually hungry. Lone gargants or groups, known as “stomps,” wander through the most desolate places in the realms. Battle brings them rare joy, a chance to show off their strength and snag some well-deserved loot.

Battle Traits

The Sons of Behemat bring some serious RAMPAGE abilities to the table, making the most of their sheer size. Picture this: every turn, these towering titans unleash devastating attacks. Take the Gargant Charge, for example – they use their massive momentum to inflict serious damage on unsuspecting targets.

And when it’s time to throw down in combat, they’ve got all sorts of chaos-causing moves. They can Jump Up and Down on smaller foes, unleash a Colossal Slam on giant enemies, or let out an Earthshaking Roar that’ll leave opponents deafened.

It’s safe to say, these big guys mean business!

Battle Formations

Every gargant stomp has its own way of life, shaped by the whims of its Big Heel. Taker Tribes are obsessed with hoarding, constantly adding to their loot collections. Breaker Tribes use siege tactics to protect each other from attacks. Stomper Tribes love crushing entire armies underfoot, and Boss Tribes lead with a rabble of Footslogga underlings.

Arcana & Incantations

Shiny Stuff Instead of Arcana

While most Sons of Behemat aren’t into casting spells or chanting prayers, they do love magical objects. Titanic Trophies are highly prized, like the Glowy Shield of Protectiness, which reflects damage back on attackers, or the Amberbone Totem, which gives them bestial hunting speed.

4th Edition AoS Rules: Sons of Behemat Warscrolls

King Brodd

King Brodd Warscroll

King Brodd is no ordinary Mega-Gargant. He had a front-row seat to watch the legendary god beast Behemat wake up during the Age of Myth and was there to witness his tragic end.

Armed with the Power of Behemat, Brodd is a force to be reckoned with. He can bestow his allies with one of three powerful blessings with a simple chant roll of 5. If he hits a 10, he doubles the fun by activating two effects at once!

Gatebreaker Mega-Gargants

Gatebreaker Mega-Gargants

These sinister giants despise the cities and towers of Sigmar’s followers. Their fortcrusha flail can level almost any structure, and their Pulverising Strike deals massive damage.

When they’re really ticked off, they go for the big guns with a Pulverising Strike, rolling a dice to potentially deal a whopping 4D6 mortal damage to their unlucky target.

Warstomper Mega-Gargants

Warstomper Mega-Gargants

Unlike the grumpy Gatebreakers, Warstomper Mega-Gargants live for the thrill of battle. Thriving in combat, these gargants use their Titanic Boulderclub to send enemies flying. They know how to handle multiple foes at once, often using a Hurled Body to clear the battlefield.

Mancrusher Gargants

Mancrusher Gargants

Though not as huge as their Mega-Gargant kin, these giants are still formidable. They keep pace with their larger allies, charging and running into battle with equal enthusiasm. These enthusiastic Footsloggas are constantly goaded with bellowing shouts of “Keep Up!” to make sure they stay in step with their longer-legged allies.

Mancrusher Gargants, fed up with living under the thumb of grumpy Mega-Gargants, sometimes decide it’s time to strike out on their own. This Spearhead consists of three Mancrusher Gargants – two of whom play second fiddle to the Bullstomper. These guys can flex their Bellowing Roar and Grab Those Rocks and Chuck ‘Em! battle traits to boost their defenses and offenses.

“Spearhead” is a standalone game that’s just right for diving into epic battles in Age of Sigmar. It’s small enough to fit on a kitchen or coffee table, and you only need one Spearhead box to get the games going for the 4th Edition.

The best part? You can snag free downloads with different rules, warscrolls, and objectives.

Whether they’re hired as mercenaries, defending their turf, or just showing off, the sight of a stomp of gargants is enough to make anyone think twice. These are the Sons of Behemat, and they believe everything must crumble before their mighty strength.
