Star Wars: Armada has had two expansion packs come out and our very own Rob Baer has them both to unbox and review. This review will focus on the Profundity, the Mon Calamari cruiser that is commanded by Admiral Raddus. Let’s dive right into the unboxing and review to take a closer look at what you will find inside.

The Profundity Expansion Pack retails for $39.95 and with a solidly painted miniature of the epic Mon Calamari cruiser. The Profundity’s strengths lie in her wide broadside arcs, which are considerably larger than the next-gen MC-80 cruiser. The Profundity has two cruiser profiles: Armored and Ordinance. Both profiles do not have a lot of red abilities. The shields are slightly more balanced the MC-80 with 4 Shields on the bow and 3 Shields for the port, starboard, and aft sections.
Going through this expansion’s card selection, you will find such options as Admiral Raddus and Bail Organa. The Raddus card has been referred to as the “Raddus Bomb” and you will be seeing this card played more often than not. He essentially allows you to hold a ship in reserve then bring it in during the start of any round. You can place said ship wherever you need it and in whatever arc you need it. Definitely going to be a deadly option to have and the combo potential is solid. Bail Organa, which is for a medium or large ship only, allows you to go first in the Ship phase if you are the 2nd player. If you are the 1st player, then you may gain up to 2 command tokens. These two cards form a great combo and will force your opponent to make some hard choices.
