New pics of Sanguinius’ instructions and even a video of the new primarch model was spotted that showed off his posing better. Don’t miss this!

Looks like there are multiple weapon options for the new Sanguinius Primarch Model for Horus Heresy. Check out the latest updates for Forge World newest addition to their Character Series!

Games Workshop revealed the finished model of Sanguinius in his all painted-up glory! We’ve been seeing rumors about him for a while now, but perhaps none of us expected him to appear before the event.

Horus Heresy’s Sanguinius Revealed By GW

Warlike, elegant and dynamic, Sanguinius is a stunning addition to the Horus Heresy Character Series. This is an instantly eye-catching miniature that’s both a fantastic gaming piece for the Horus Heresy and an incredible collector’s item.

If his pose looked familiar to you, that’s because it’s a pretty close match to the classic painting above. Of course, there are a few minor changes like the hair and the leg posing…But you get the idea!

Sanguinius is a real work of art…but you may be right if you think it looks like something is missing. All other Primarchs come with some kind of dynamic base so it looks like we haven’t seen everything just yet.

Like other Primarchs, Sanguinius will be available as part of the Horus Heresy Character Series. However, unlike his brothers, there will be two versions available. The already impressive Character Series version (above), and a special edition of the model that features an extraordinary display base. Both versions will be available to buy at the Horus Heresy Weekender first.

All of the Primarchs have a larger base that they sit on (like Rogal Dorn above). However, looking at Magnus, he is posed dueling Leman Russ. Could it be that Sanguinius is going to be getting a pose striking down Ka’Bandha- his mortal enemy?

Will that be his “special edition extraordinary display base”? We won’t know until the Horus Heresy Weekender.

Sanguinius in 360 Detail

Coming from Lil Legend Studio on Facebook, we can get a better look of the Sanguinius model in 360 vision.

It looks like the stone that’s holding him up is actually attached to his cape and part of his left foot.  If you wanted to snip him off and make your own dynamic base, you’d just have to be careful around those parts.]

Instructions for Sanguinius Primarch Model

Hobby Hero Garro is on the scene at the weekender and posted up the instructions for Sanguinius. He said:

Instructions for Sanguinius. Special base on sale tomorrow.

An interesting note to not use the left hand (4.) for the Diorama base. Perhaps he is holding onto something or someone…  Also, note the option for the Spear of Telesto (with holstered Moonsilver blade) or the Blade Encarmine that we have seen pictured so far.

The kit seems to feature a lot of dynamic Roman-esque straps around the shoulder pad areas.

Overall it looks like everyone is just waiting for the final reveal of the base with who, or what will be on it.

Has the long wait been worth it for Sanguinius? What do you think his other display base will look like? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
