New AoS Cities of Sigmar Army Box, Seraphon, & More: Pre-Order Pricing

We’ve seen Cities of Sigmar previews for a while now, so it’s great to be able to order the army box! Plus, the Seraphon Vanguard box is also on the way, which has some decent value inside.

The Hive Mind is usually content to direct its swarms from afar, but when a more personal touch is needed, the Norn Emissary is deployed to act as its eyes, ears, and claws on the battlefield. These towering monstrosities are spawned for a single specific purpose, and pack epic levels of speed, strength, and raw psionic power into a single deadly package.

This multipart plastic kit builds a Norn Emissary, a psychic monster tailored to overcome all resistance. Stood atop a ruined structure covered in Tyranid growths, the Emissary shreds all opposition with massive scything talons and cruel, dextrous claws, its visible brain tissue suffused with unnatural power. The Norn Emissary stands amongst the larger creatures in the Tyranids range, towering above even a Hive Tyrant – it’s an excellent centrepiece model, loaded with alien detail to show off your painting skills. The kit also includes two different lower torsos, allowing you to pose your Emissary surveying the battlefield or leering down at its prey.

This miniature can alternatively be built as a Norn Assimilator, a single-minded Tyranid monster with toxic bone harpoons.

The Norn Emissary is a massive new monster model with two different build options! Both of which look stunning and are sure to bring the beats.

As a new, unique model, this trench-coat-like assassin looks quite menacing.

This kit comprises 56 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 50mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

The standard Lictor is also getting some love with this newly updated mini.

Going onto the chaff, the Genestealers got an update, which will also see some play by Genestealer Cult players as well too!

This kit comprises 79 plastic components, and comes with 10x Citadel 28.5mm Round Hex Hole Bases, and a Citadel 40mm Round Hex Hole Base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

A new update to the troop’s suite of Tyranids will go a long way in updating the lineup’s appearance on the tabletop, not to mention the new special weapons this gives the squad access to!

Hormagaunts Retail Price: $50 €40 £30

This kit comprises 68 plastic components, and comes with 10x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases and a Citadel 40mm Round Base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

The melee variety of troops also got updated, and are looking better than ever.

Biovore Retail Price: $50 €40 £30

The Biovore in this kit can alternatively be built as a Pyrovore, a fire-spewing Tyranid creature.

This kit comprises 37 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 80mm Round Base and 3x Citadel 25mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

The Biovore’s new model has two different variants, and both look like living tanks, which are sure to have devastating shots.

Combat Patrol: Tyranids: $160 €125 £95 (Direct Only From Games Workshop)

This set includes the following multipart plastic models:
– 1x Winged Tyranid Prime
– 1x Psychophage
– 3x Von Ryan’s Leapers
– 5x Barbgaunts
– 20x Termagants, armed with fleshborers
– 2x Ripper Swarms

All models come with their appropriate bases. These push-fit miniatures can be assembled without glue, and are supplied unpainted

The new patrol is a great place to start if you want to dip your toes in or even just bulk up your model counts at a slight discount. These, of course, are all the same models from the Leviathan box set, just in different packaging.

Datasheet Cards Tyranids Retail Price: $35 €25 £20

This pack of new and updated Datasheet Cards complements Codex: Tyranids. With all of your detachment rules occupying just a single double-page spread, these cards speed up your games with useful unit information at hand without needing to leaf through the Codex. These cards supersede the index cards available online.

Track all your new rules easier with these new datasheet cards that appear to be the same size as Index cards. From the looks of it, they will also replace the free index cards for the Tyranids as well!

Tyranids Dice Set Retail Price: $32 €23 £18

The Fourth Tyrannic War began with Hive Fleet Leviathan, and now you can celebrate their commitment to eating everything in sight with a pack of 16 Leviathan-themed dice, cast in swirly purple plastic and sporting their pips, and the Tyranid faction logo, in white ink.

These were only previewed a couple of weeks ago, so it’s nice to see them hitting pre-order so soon! Especially when GW will also give out all the rules for the new models for free. If you’ve been waiting for new Orruks, your time has come, and there are plenty of new kits to buy.

We expect them to sell out quickly, as that’s been the trend lately. Here are all the new release pricing and links for you to order!

Dawnbringers: Book II – Reign of the Brute Retail Price: $50 €40 £30 (Collectors $90)

The story of the Twin-Tailed Crusade continues in Dawnbringers: Book II, as the brave soldiers of Hammerhal strike out across Aqshy and Ghyran. This time they’ll have some titanic foes to deal with, as one branch clashes head-on with Gargant King Brodd – seeking vengeance for the death of his father – while the other tangles with Trugg the Troggoth King.

Inside this 96-page hardback book you’ll find:
– A high-stakes, action-filled narrative spread across both Aqshy and Ghyran, as the Twin-Tailed Crusade encounters foes that are vast, ancient, and angry
– Warscrolls, background, and pitched battle profiles for Trugg the Troggoth King and new Ironjawz units, such as monstrous Maw-grunta Gougers
– Path to Glory rules for sending your Cities of Sigmar army on a Ghyranite or Aqshian crusade, with branching quests, battleplans, and new rewards
– Rules for four themed armies of renown, each with new allegiance abilities: Trugg’s Troggherd, the Grunta Stampede, King Brodd’s Stomp, and the Grundstok Expeditionary Force

This expansion contains a one-use code to add the book to your digital library in Warhammer Age of Sigmar: The App. This includes all warscrolls that can be used with the armies of renown found in this book.

The second book in the series is here for the Dawnbringers Crusade. The Orruk Warclans rules, however, will be available for free via the downloadable PDF supplement.

Trugg’s Great Troggherd Retail Price: $150

This set includes the following:
– 1x Trugg the Troggoth King
– 6x Rockgut Troggoths

All models are supplied with their appropriate bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

The new big baddie on the block, Trugg the Troggoth King, looks to come locked behind a paywall of six Rockgut Troggoths this week.

While Trugg the Troggoth King will eventually be available on his own, this looks to be the only way to get him currently. Always remember to vote with your hobby dollars if this box is a value or a pass for you.

Rabble-rowza Retail Price: $35 €27 £21

This kit comprises 10 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

Speaking of paywalls, the first character unlocked from summer 2023’s Regiment of Renowns, the Rabble Rowza is now available separately from the Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz box four months after that set’s release.

Gloomspite Gitz Dice Set Retail Price: $40 €32.50 £25

Each pack contains 20 yellow plastic dice with the emblem of the Bad Moon embossed in black ink – just what the Loonboss ordered.

Battletome Supplement Ironjawz (FREE DOWNLOAD)

A host of new Ironjawz are coming to pre-order on Saturday. Their rules can be found inside the new Dawnbringers book, but in case you aren’t getting your hands on a copy this week, we’ve got you covered with a free PDF download of Battletome Supplement: Ironjawz. This contains all eight warscrolls, from Ardboys with their new weapon options to the brutal Tuskboss on Maw-grunta.

Perhaps best of all, there will be a free Iron Jaws Battletome Supplement PDF for all the new minis included, but we assume there will be a new battletome at some point.

Tuskboss on Maw-grunta Retail Price: $80 €62.50 £47.50

This kit can alternatively build a Maw-Grunta with Hakkin’ Krew, or a Maw-grunta Gouger.

This kit comprises 81 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 120mm Oval Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

The big pig is finally here; from the looks of it, he unlocks Maw-gruntas as battlelines. This giant boar is sure to have devastating charges to demolish enemy lines.

Ardboy Big Boss Retail Price: $35 €30 £22.50

This kit comprises eight plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

Orruk Ardboys Retail Price: $60 €50 £37.50

This kit comprises 98 plastic components, and comes with 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

These guys are just a huge upgrade from the old Black Orcs kits from Warhammer Fantasy! There will be a few options in the kit, so hopefully, there will be plenty of extra bits.

Weirdbrute Wrekkaz & Brute Ragerz Retail Price: $60 €45 £35

This set can alternatively build three Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, clad in terrifying war-masks.

This kit comprises 50 plastic components, and comes with 3x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

These Orruks can run and charge in the same turn and are just great at smashing through the enemy!

Sometimes, the storm of Waaagh! energy that swirls around an orruk battle can send some boyz off the deep end, and they end up in a unit of Weirdbrute Wrekkaz. The only thing they’re good for is bolting on an iron mask and swinging a heavy ball-and-chain, which is a task their fellow Ironjawz are only too happy to set them to.

This kit can also be built as the Weirdbrute Wrekkaz, and they harness all the magical energy to smash the enemy. They mention they are like Fanatics, so perfect for smashing through hordes of enemy infantry.

Zoggrok Anvilsmasha Retail Price: $45 €35 £27.50

This kit comprises 20 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 50mm Round Base and a Citadel 25mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

First up, this newly revealed kit will have two build options. The model shown is focused all on strength, and supposedly, he can wallop someone so hard he can turn off their ward saves!

Vanguard: Orruk Warclans Retail Price: $140 €110 £85

This set includes the following multipart plastic models:

– 1x Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof
– 1x Murknob with Belcha-banna
– 1x Beast-skewer Killbow
– 3x Man-skewer Boltboyz
– 10x Gutrippaz

All models are supplied with their appropriate bases.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

Overall, this looks to be a decent box with a wide range of minis and options if you are just starting Orruks and want some of the Kruelboyz miniatures.

With the Troggoth King emerging, riled and ready for battle, it’s clear that tumultuous times lie ahead for any who dare oppose them.

Cerastus Knight Acheron Retail Price: $200 €155 £120

This kit comprises 253 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 170x109mm Oval Base. It also includes an Age of Darkness Cerastus Knight Transfer Sheet, containing 517 optional markings and icons for the Knight Households of the Horus Heresy. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

Both Knights feature the sprue above with a poseable weapon feed that utilizes multiple sections to get the length perfect for any pose possible.

Cerastus Knight Castigator Retail Price: $200 €155 £120

This kit comprises 247 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 170x109mm Oval Base. It also includes an Age of Darkness Cerastus Knight Transfer Sheet, containing 517 optional markings and icons for the Knight Households of the Horus Heresy. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

The other knight is slightly longer-range focused but still has a fantastic melee weapon!

The Drakfang Thirsters Retail Price: $50

Rules for using Vampire teams in your games of Blood Bowl can be found in Spike! Journal 16, which is sold separately.

This kit comprises 96 plastic components, and is supplied with 14x Citadel 32mm Round Bases and 1x Vampire Team Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly

This new team has a ton of variety, and with four new Forge World characters you can choose to add this week, there are even more options!

Spike! Journal Issue 16 Retail Price: $15

You’ve got the team and you’ve assembled the star players, so you’re probably going to need rules for them. Spike! Journal 16 contains all that and more – it’s a one-stop shop for all things Vampire in Blood Bowl, including rules, tactics, lore, and more.

If you plan on getting the new team, be sure to pick up Spike for their rules!

Vampire Team Pitch Retail Price: $55 / Cards Retail Price: $33.50 / Dice Retail Price: $20.50

Complete the vampiric look with these accessories: a double-sided pitch and dugout set (in which you play in a Vampire’s castle with some very flammable carpet), some chic dice for the proper obeisances to Nuffle, and a card set which includes two types of Special Play, reference cards, Star Player cards, and blank positional cards to record your on team.

It wouldn’t be a Blood Bowl release without new faction flair, like a pitch and dice to match.
