All The Exclusive Games Workshop Warhammer Miniatures You Can Still Find

Table of Contents & Article Summary show

warhammer day 2023 reveal

Most of these Games Workshop-exclusive Warhammer miniatures were usually hard to get ahold of, even more so in times of social distancing.  So, if you have been thinking about it, you may want to grab one of these minis if you still see them available on shelves.  Fortunately, we still found most of these for sale on Amazon or eBay, but who knows how long they will be available?

Everyone loves exclusive Warhammer miniatures from Games Workshop because getting them is an adventure! These are all the most common from the last few years of exclusive releases stretching back to 2019. Whether you’re a Warhammer hobbyist or player, these minis will always make a great addition to your collection.

2024 Miniature Lineup

Invocation of the Elements- Tau Miniature: Warhammer Stores Exclusive

Exclusive Miniatures Warhammer 2024

This miniature, titled Invocation of the Elements, wears flowing robes inscribed with the icon of the Ethereal caste, while their staff is embellished with each of the other caste’s insignia. The jar they carry in their other hand emits a choice of four fumes themed after each element, while the model itself stands atop a ruined aquila – suggesting that the T’au are fighting on an Imperial world.

This miniature for Tau will stand out from your other Ethereals! If you play Tau, this will be worth picking up (or at least thinking about it).

Brakki of the Gilded Key- Fyreslayer Miniature: Warhammer Stores Exclusive

Exclusive Miniatures Warhammer 2024 2

This miniature is packed with detail, from the intricate key that gives the duardin his name to the raging flames atop his Latch-axe. It also features a beautiful cape fashioned from the scales and hide of a Magmadroth, and Brakki is sure to stand out on the battlefield when you use him in your Fyreslayer armies as an alternative Runesmiter.

If you need a dwarf with a key, GW has you covered with this model! While not the most dynamically posed miniature, he should be a good addition to your army.

The Hunter Strikes: Event Exclusive Miniature

Warhammer Event Exclusive Miniatures 2024

The Hunter Strikes is a Kroot Carnivore caught mid-pounce, striking a mighty two-handed blow with the blade on his rifle. It’s the perfect accompaniment to the Kroot Hunting Pack army set that was just announced at the Las Vegas Open – this really is shaping up to be the year of the Kroot…

Kroot finally got a rework, so it only makes sense they also received an exclusive miniature.

Warhammer Event Exclusive Miniatures 2024 2

As you would expect from a commemorative miniature, this agile avian assailant is festooned with details – most of it edible, in this case. There’s a butchering knife, meathook, a nice bone and a rack of ribs being saved for later, plus a pouch and tools, presumably carrying seasoning.

Like most years, this was first available at AdeptiCon.

AoS Exclusive Miniature: Steel Rook

Warhammer Event Exclusive Miniatures 2024 3

The counterpart from the Age of Sigmar is a little better armoured, but still retains an avian demeanour. This is the Steel Rook, an alternate Arch-Knight for the Freeguild Command Corps.

This guy is so heavily armored he should be able to walk through the fires of the Realms of Sigmar without any issues.

Warhammer Event Exclusive Miniatures 2024 4

They continue the animal theme of the Arch-Knights, adding a third, bird option to the bear or fish knights you can build from the main Corps kit. They’re even accompanied by an actual rook, just in case the feathered fashion statements were too subtle.

The Steel Rook has some cool little details, but don’t worry; they put a bird on it, too! Both of these exclusives are cool miniatures and should make for a fun little hobby project.

2023 Miniature Lineup

Yôht Grendok: Warhammer Stores Exclusive 2023

Click here to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Warhammer Exclusive Miniatrues 2023

The Leagues of Votann are the latest faction to stake a claim on the galaxy in Warhammer 40,000. They wage war to protect the ancient machine-constructs that govern their societies, strip-mining whole planets to fuel their ventures. Yôht Grendok is a young up-and-comer of a Kâhl, the war-leaders of the Leagues.

Yôht is armed with a unique, belt-fed Autoch-pattern combi-bolter and a forgewrought plasma sword. His gear is decorated with fine gems, and topped by an ornate rampart crest decorated with leonine imagery. He’ll be receiving Warhammer Legends rules, allowing you to use his particular loadout in open, narrative, or matched play – or you could field him as a standard Kâhl.

While this doesn’t have special rules, you can obviously play him as a Kahl. It still has a tactical rock, so it fits in with the rest of the army.

Torrk Lennsen: Warhammer Stores Exclusive 2023

Click here to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Warhammer Exclusive Miniatrues 2023 2

There are no better airship commanders in the Mortal Realms than the Kharadron Overlords, and Arkanaut Admirals are the best of the best. Amongst these high-flying privateers, Torrk Lennsen is one of the most storied – a hard-bitten veteran of skyborne skirmishes throughout the Age of Sigmar.

These miniatures will be available at Store Anniversary events from February 2023 onwards – you’ll have to speak to your store about ordering them when their special day rolls around.

This model is ready for battle with his heavy armor, giant hammer, and multiple head options.

Abhorrant Ghoul King Warhammer Boxing Day 2022 Miniature

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Warhammer Boxing Day Mini

The illusion is shattered! That’s not your favourite uncle in his favourite chair, that’s the Abhorrant Ghoul King with Crown of Delusion, this year’s Boxing Day Miniature! Instead of a cosy Christmas scene, our reverie was in fact a heinous feast of raw flesh, and we’re actually all horrible ghouls deluded into a parody of familial festivities!

The miniature is pretty cool, and who doesn’t want a Ghoul King sitting on a throne?

Warhammer Boxing Day Mini 2

This crowned cannibal will make a perfect painting project for those who want to push themselves with a special one-off miniature, or perhaps he’ll become the centre of a Flesh-eater Courts diorama – maybe even a gory feast full of foul Crypt Ghouls and Crypt Horrors?

This commemorative miniature will be available exclusively at Warhammer stores from Boxing Day until Sunday the 8th of January 2023. You’ll be able to order it online between Saturday the 7th of January and Sunday the 15th of January, so dip your finger in blood – er, cranberry sauce – and circle your calendar.

The Commissar’s Duty: Event-Exclusive Miniature for 2023

Click here to get yours on Amazon or eBay

GW exclusive miniatures 2023

From the 41st Millennium comes The Commissar’s Duty. This vignette depicts an absolutely iconic scene – an Astra Militarum Commissar with his sword planted in the battlefield rubble, standing tall as he delivers the Emperor’s Justice. Is he aiming at a foe, or at a Guardsman who needs to be made into an example?

He’s got a whole tactical rock to stand on with both feet! Seriously though, this is a pretty cool model, and while it’s a little static, it should be striking on the battlefield.

Tolgar Split-Eye: Event-Exclusive Miniature for 2023

Click here to get yours on Amazon or eBay

GW exclusive miniatures 2023 2

Out of the Mortal Realms charges Tolgar Split-Eye, a frenzied Darkoath warrior sporting a natty eye-patch and swinging two huge axes. He also comes with an alternative head for building a nameless Darkoath Chieftain, which trades flowing locks for a fine beard.

This guy is a lot more dynamic and, with those giant axes, should be a good addition to your forces.

AdeptiCon was the first place to score this, but it was at plenty of events throughout that year.

Warhammer+ Plus 2023 Miniatures: Unbroken Kasrkin

veteran Kasrkin

“Unbroken” represents a veteran Kasrkin standing at ease for Warhammer 40k, based on some older Karl Kopinski artwork.

Inspired by a classic piece of Karl Kopinski art, Unbroken presents a veteran Kasrkin standing at ease. The miniature faithfully depicts details from a classic piece of Warhammer artwork, including the curved power sabre, the rebreather and goggles worn high on his scarred head, and the inverted combat blade on his chest.

It’s a fantastic piece for collectors and painters, perfect for working into dioramas, or perhaps even just as a unique Sergeant for your Kasrkin.

2023 Warhammer+ Plus Miniatures: Karlina Von Carstein

Karlina Von Carstein

This was big news for all the Sylvania fans out there. Like all the Warhammer+ exclusives, this hit the secondary market for not horrible prices.

Decked out in majestic fluted armour, Karlina Von Carstein is a sinister Vampire Lord armed and ready to do battle. In one hand she holds an elegant falchion decorated with a thorny rose, and in another an empty chalice awaiting the lifeblood of her foes. This miniature has a choice of two heads – one helmet with a bat-wing motif, the other with an exaggerated aristocratic hairstyle befitting an immortal terror of the Mortal Realms – you don’t reach a few thousand years old without picking up some eccentric ideas about fashion.

Click on these links to order yours for less from these retailers: | Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | eBay | or | Games Workshop’s Store

Warhammer Day 2023 Exclusive miniature

The Ancestors’ Wrath is an Einhyr Champion standing at ease, bearing a stag crest on her armour that’s mirrored by a motif on her shield. She also has a choice of three different heads – helmeted, lifted visor, and bare.

The Einhyr Champion is already a fantastic model, but it’s always nice to have a different pose you can throw down on the table!

Warhammer Day 2023 Exclusive miniature 2

The Leagues of Votann are a faction derived from the earliest days of Warhammer 40,000 history. They took a long leave of absence, but now they’ve returned to stake their claim on the most valuable materials in the galaxy in order to protect their Ancestor Cores.

The kit comes with extra heads and is quite striking on the tabletop.  Read More Here

Holiday Mini: Da Grotmas Gitz!

Click on these links to order yours for less from these retailers: | Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | eBay | or | Games Workshop’s Store

Da Grotmas Gitz 2

Da Grotmas Gitz are here! Riding into the wintery night atop a giant squig, its mouth stuffed chockablock with stolen presents, this grotty gang is clearly commanded by a hooded holiday hoodlum…

Countless gifts have been stuffed into this mysterious mischief-maker’s sack – whatever they couldn’t fit into the squig’s gob, at least. Sadly, the bag’s integrity isn’t quite up to the usual high standard of Grot construction, and a critical loss of trinkets has occurred – someone better grab that Space Marine!

This is a cool mini with tons of unique little details! Plus, it’s hard not to get into the holiday spirit when looking at this because… Squig and Night Goblin! Read More Here

Holiday Mini: Da Red Gobbo

Click on these links to order yours for less from these retailers: | Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | eBay | or | Games Workshop’s Store

Da Red Gobbo

You can see from the stack of presents that the little blighter actually has some pretty fancy gifts, including a paint brush and some paints – lots of explosives too. Clearly whoever is on the receiving end of this sparking surprise has been naughty.

If you’ve been good, Da Red Gobbo might find it in his little heart to bring you a present! But if you’ve been mean to any Grots, he might just blow you up instead!

2022 Miniature Lineup

Exclusive Inquisitor Erasmus Cartavolnus

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

new exclusive inquisitor

The Ordo Malleus is dedicated to hunting and exterminating daemons wherever they appear, and Erasmus Cartavolnus has been doing it for over 300 years. Despite his advanced age, this zealous Inquisitor still strides the battlefield in search of daemonic quarry, and his knowledge of binding rituals is second to none.

This is honestly pretty cool, with the huge flame exploding from the book and the giant sword. While the pose itself isn’t super dynamic, all the extra pieces of flair make up for it.

Exclusive Gutrippa Boss Haggok

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Gutrippa Boss

It takes a wily creature to command the respect of a Kruleboyz Gutrippa mob, and Haggok is always on the lookout for his latest would-be usurper to pre-emptively run through. With a (mostly) tame vulture keeping its beady eyes open for incoming threats, Haggok has time to relax a little and survey the battlefield, leaning casually on his skareshield. He fits in perfectly with your existing Gutrippa warbands, and as a unit leader, he has a more refined air than your average Kruleboy can muster.

He’s not the most exciting model, but still pretty cool. If for nothing other than the vulture!

Limited Edition Horus Heresy: Fafnir Rann

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

fafnir rann

fafnir rann

A celebrated officer of the Imperial Fists, Captain Rann was charged with the defence of the strategically vital Lions Gate Spaceport. He later joined the Templar Brethren, fighting alongside Sigismund and earning ever greater glory.

He wades into battle with not one but TWO axes! This is just a great-looking miniature with plenty of flavor.

Limited Edition Horus Heresy: Dominion Zephon

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

dominion zephon

Dominion Zephon had his Great Crusade cut short when he suffered terrible injuries at the hands of xenos warriors. No less a tech-adept than Arkhan Land – the (re)discoverer of the Land Raider and Land Speeder – created his new bionics and got him back in the fight. His jump pack lets him zip around the battlefield to bring his volkite serpenta pistols to wherever they can do the most damage.

Dominion Zephon

With a sword that giant, you know he’s going to cut through plenty of traitors!

Event Exclusive Primaris Company Champion

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

exclusive Minis

For Warhammer 40,000 comes the sword-swinging Primaris Company Champion. These formidable warriors of the Adeptus Astartes defend their chapter’s honour on the battlefield, armed with a devastating master-crafted power sword and skills honed over countless duels.

exclusive Minis 2

The Primaris Company Champion even has an entirely new datasheet for use in Legends games of Warhammer 40,000, loaded with three deadly Blade Stances. You can also use him in other games, perhaps as a particularly cool squad leader, or even the Emperor’s Champion.

While this exclusive Space Marines Primaris company champion doesn’t have a set role in regular 40k games, it would make for a ton of really cool proxies, and since it’s a GW product, nobody can hassle you for it. It’s an interesting mini, but not the wildest thing we’ve ever seen.

Event Exclusive Swampcalla Shaman

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

exclusive Minis 3

For Warhammer Age of Sigmar, meet Mugruk Da Watcha! This Swampcalla Shaman believes he’s found a new way of observing the battlefield using a special seeing-eye rock, but it’s really nothing more than a neat hat.

exclusive Minis 4

Wearing a blindfold won’t keep this malodorous mage from getting stuck in with a bogbark staff and he’s brewing up a bevy of elixirs to empower the venom-tipped weapons of his fellow Kruleboyz. Mugruk isn’t accompanied by a pot grot, but he can still jab at foes with his own backup stabba.

Everyone loves exclusive miniatures from Games Workshop, sometimes because getting them is such an adventure!

Bayard’s Revenge: Warhammer Day Exclusive Mini

Fast forward to October 2022 and this awesome diorama!

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Bayard’s Revenge

This multipart plastic kit allows you to build a Commemorative Series model capturing the Emperor’s Champion, Bayard of the Black Templars, as he buries his Black Sword in the chest of an Ork Nob. This diorama encapsulates the grim darkness of the far future in fine form, a treat for all fans of Warhammer 40,000. Festooned with details, including a huge variety of different textures and materials, an option for a stylized helmet or bare head, plus a fully sculpted display base, this model represents the perfect opportunity to show off the painting skills you’ve devoloped over your years in the Warhammer hobby.

This is one of the most dynamic exclusives we’ve seen, and if you want a model to really be your army’s centerpiece, this is hard to beat!

Sylas Beastbane: Warhammer Store-Exclusive Miniature

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

AoS Anniversary mini

For AoS, there was this Stormcast mini called Sylas Beastbane. If you ask us, the mini seems very appropriately named. He is armed with the Questor Axe hammer.

Holga Clovenhorn: Warhammer Open & Event-Exclusive Miniature

And the Warhammer Open and event-exclusive miniatures for 2021, starting with Holga Clovenhorn!

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

new figures for gw eventsHolga Clovenhorn, Aspiring Champion of Chaos was the model for the AoS side of things. It’s honestly a pretty cool mini, while the pose is static, the detail on the rest of it makes up for it.

Necron Lord Hasmoteph: Warhammer Open & Event-Exclusive Miniature

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

new figures for gw events 2Necron Lord Hasmoteph, the Resplendent, filled the slot for 40k. Necrons grabbed a lot of exclusives in 2021. The sculpt isn’t anything too special, but having exclusive minis is always a plus for any faction.

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

FREE New Primaris Space Marines Sergeant Castus Miniature

This was “Free” as long as you spent $240 in the online store or £150.

Primaris Lieutenant With Storm Shield: Warhammer Day 2021 Exclusive Miniature

Warhammer Day Exclusive MinisWho doesn’t need another Lieutenant in their army? Well, if you’re already overflowing, get used to it!

Anasta Malkorion: Warhammer Day 2021 Exclusive Miniature

Warhammer Day Exclusive Minis 2Phwoar. Anasta Malkorion will be available in stores and online, but you’ll only be able to acquire our brave Lieutenant from Games-Workshop.com.

Stores didn’t get the Space Marine but did get this one, meaning there might be more on the secondary market.

Da Red Gobbo & Bounca: Holiday Miniature

Orks are always a holiday favorite, and 2021 was no exception!

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Da Red Gobbo and Bounca

Santa Claus he is not. Astride his loyal squig Bounca, da Red Gobbo dispenses presents to all the good little grots, and his model is packed with joyous details. Baubles and ornaments hang from the squig’s antlers and litter the ground underfoot, while the Gobbo’s trusty sidearm is slung in a holster across his back.

This miniature will only be available until 8am GMT on Friday 31st of December 2021.

This product is Made to Order and will be delivered in 180 working days.

Nothing is more jolly and in the Christmas spirit than a Red Gobbo and his candy-cane theme stick of dynamite, or at least so we’re told.

Bawla & Burk: Store Exclusive Miniature

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

These exclusive miniatures were available from December 26th – January 2nd in local Warhammer stores. But we’re classifying them in 2021!

Holiday exclusive mini

While Bawla merrily hacks his way through skaven armies, Burk keeps the rat swarms out of his way. In fact, this grot is so cunning, we doubt that rat will ever catch him!

The mini is pretty cool but nothing too crazy and not nearly as festive as the Red Gobbo (they even did a coin for him)! Still, if you play Orruks, it’s hard to complain about new minis. As always, and yes, we mean always, the goblin is way better than the giant green guy standing above him.

2020 Miniature Lineup

Event Exclusive (delayed due to the pandemic): Dacian Anvil

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

dacian anvil 2 He was supposed to be released at 2020’s Adepticon, but since that got canceled, Dacian popped up much later.

In-store Exclusive: Sergeant Ripper Jackson

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Catachan Imperial Guard ripper exclusiveThis was the first bit of love Catachans had gotten in a while from GW, well, other than the Colonel. This originally was going to be an in-store exclusive mini, but GW also made her MTO on the site for a while.

If you’re lucky, you may be able to find one on the secondary market.

Exclusive MTO Librarian Terminator

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

adepticon 2020 exclusive psykerAfter GW’s third online preview, he was announced as an MTO with two weeks of open ordering before they produced and shipped them out. Obviously, it took a while to get this guy, but hobbyists eventually got it!

Exclusive MTO: Sisters Tariana Palos

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

sister of battle MTO 2This new Sister took everyone by surprise as we had no idea GW was even working on more exclusive models for the faction. However, this Sister is posed just like the famous artwork we’ve seen over and over through the years.

In-game, she’s just a normal Sister, so you could make her the position of a Sergeant in your force, but that’s about it.

Store Exclusive Model: Catachan Colonel

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

catachan colonel model independent retailerThis one went for crazy money on the secondary market and, unfortunately, still is… If you managed to grab this one up, nice work! It was a store exclusive that had a bungled release and just dove the price for this little guy through the roof.

Warhammer Day 2020 Miniature: Chaplain in Terminator Armor

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Chaplain Tarentus was available in stores and online during Warhammer Day itself.

Christmas Model: Jakkob Bugmansson XI

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

jakkob bugmansson XI

Now, the legacy of the legendary Josef Bugman continues in the form of this year’s Christmas model, Jakkob Bugmansson XI. This Brewmaster-General, and (some say) descendant of the originator of many fine ales, will be available to order throughout November and December before he vanishes into legend.

The 2020 Christmas model took on the appearance of a  Kharadron overlord brewmaster! It looks perfect with not so much going on that it’ll fit right into your army if you chose to field it.

Commemorative Model: Gorzag & Nikkit

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

gorzag and nikkit

While not a Christmas model, these guys were a “Commemorative Model” back in 2020. They were first available to Warhammer stores from December 26th until January 3rd, followed by a release online through GW’s website. Some local game stores also received them. However, now, you can find them on the secondary market.

2019 Miniature Lineup

Primaris Lieutenant Amulius

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Lieutenant Amulius is easy to build (ETB) and was seen at the 2019 Adepticon as a surprise exclusive Warhammer miniature!

While he’s a normal Primaris Lieutenant on the tabletop, his model is definitely sweet and puts off a generic codex-Astartes vibe. If you still want to pick this guy up, he can sometimes be found on Amazon, too.

Severina Raine

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Severina RaineThis fine cast mini was released as the Black Library Celebration mini of 2019. She is an uncompromising Commissar who has been through hundreds of battles and helped retake the worlds of the Bale Star.

Primaris Sergeant Jovan

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

This guy was another store exclusive for 40k in 2019. And while he may be a Primaris, he’s actually not a Lieutenant. He’s got one of the more dynamic posing/bases that we’ve seen in terms of Primaris characters so far. At the end of the day, he’ll make a fantastic (insert T4 HQ here) for any Chapter.

Sister of Battle: Amalia Novena

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

plastic sisters of battle paintedTechnically, the first plastic Sisters of Battle miniature, as she was the store-exclusive on June 29th 2019’s Warhammer Day celebration, about six months before the faction returned in an Army box on Black Friday 2019. The best part is that she’s a fully multipart plastic kit, and isn’t Easy-to-Build!

Valerian & Aleya

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

Valerian and AleyaAnother release coming from the Black Library Celebration! These two are from the Watchers of the Throne series and even had some interesting (if underwhelming) rules to use them as named characters in your games.

Leena Stormspire: Warhammer Stores Exclusive 2019

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

leena 1Stormcast was a hero that was only available for store openings, refurbishments, or relocations. Rocking a shield and sword, she opted for a more tanky loadout over her battle brother, Berek.

Berek the Indomitable

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

berek stormcast exclusiveBerek the Indomitable is a Stormcast that specializes in damage. With a big two-handed hammer, he doesn’t need to try to block anything. Like Leena, he’s posed standing over the top of a Greenskin he’s just slaughtered. It looks like he literally batted the torso off on an Orruk and ran over to go stand on it for the classic “Captain Morgan hero pose.”

Really, though, we can’t blame him.

Larissa Shadowstalker

Click to get yours on Amazon or eBay

stormcat store exclusive larissa shadowstalkerLarissa Shadowstalker is a Knight-Questor armed with a stormstrike glaive. She’s on foot and doesn’t have a shield, so, in terms of in-game rules, she’s not the most high-speed low-drag option.
