And with the new supplement coming out, why not get inspired for your own paint jobs? Check out the video below for the whole breakdown of the mini, or check out our highlights! Let’s get into it.

Amazing Freehand: Dark Angels Primaris Ancient

On the Primaris, the shoulder pads have a freehand chapter symbol and first legion heraldry. The paint job has a lot of attention to detail, including placement of highlights and applying age marks and dirt to the right places to give the Dark Angel a realistic feel. All the paints are very vibrant as well. Each addition looks right at home on the model itself.

The Banner

There is a ton of detail used on the banner and miniature, including the top of the standard converted to indicate the first legion among others. But just look at the banner again! Come on, it’s hard to get much cooler than that to rally your troops.

The dirt effects everywhere really add that extra touch of detail to make this look great from any angle. Hopefully, this mini has got you inspired to paint up your new Dark Angels, or old ones that have been sitting around for a while looking for some hobby love. Even old minis need love.
