First, it was the Space Marine Heroes, then the Scouts, and now the multipart Space Marine Terminator Captain is missing in the Warp!
GW recently did a massive wave of 10th Edition new releases for Space Marines, but the Scouts were missing from the list, and so was the multi-part Terminator Captain! However, the Scouts will be in the new Kill Team box against the Striking Scorpions.
Speaking of Kill Team, the new Space Marine Heroes 4 blind boxes that were announced going on sale September 15th, 2023, are still missing from store shelves in North America (as of this writing.)
Multipart Space Marine Terminator Captain Is Missing
This model is pretty awesome, but you can’t get him yet! This makes us wonder if he will be paired in some new box, just like the scouts were. Interestingly, he wasn’t even put into the Combat Patrol, as there is a Captain in there, but the non-multipart kit.
Games Workshop has already put out multiple boxes with Terminators, so we aren’t exactly sure what release they are saving him for. Perhaps Dark Angels?
However, GW has been slow on releasing kits after the reveal lately; I just think it took eight months for them to release the minis from Strike Force Agastus on their own. So, it might be some time before we see this mini, or who knows? They might sneak him into a random release in the next few months.
Or, the other option is they are saving him for another box, but at this point, we’re not really sure what else they would pair him with, considering you can buy the Terminators on their own. However, they have been selling a lot of boxed board games lately, so who knows, maybe he will be fighting off a horde of something soon in a board game.
Either way, let’s hope he appears soon!
