Don’t miss all the new release previews from Games Workshop today! Check out what was revealed at SPIEL and is on the way to store shelves now!
If you’re a fan of Necromunda, Warcry, Blood Bowl, and Chibis you don’t want to miss this. Warhammer Community announced what was just revealed at SPIEL, the largest tabletop gaming convention in the world.
Necromunda Dark Rising Box Set
Dark Uprising is a fresh take on Necromunda for both veterans and newcomers alike. The box is bursting with amazing models, including modular Zone Mortalis terrain, two complete gangs – the twisted Corpse Grinder Cult and indomitable Palanite Enforcers – plus a rulebook, cards, dice, and rulers.
The highlights from this announcement are that Zone Mortalis terrain is coming to Necromunda. We actually heard about this happening a while back in a batch of rumors that turned out to be completely true.
We knew that a new Necromunda gang was hiding behind the scenes as we first saw a video preview on the dudes a while back. The leader called himself “The lord of skin and sinew”.
Also coming inside the box is a brand new gang called the Corpsegrinder Cult and will be going head to head against the bolter-wielding Palatine Enforcers.
Ogres Come to Blood Bowl- Fire Mountain Gut Busters
Just when the Ogor Mawtribes are right around the corner for AoS, these chunky bois decided to roll up to the scene for Blood Bowl!
Even in sports, these guys can’t seem to get rid of their trusty hand-sprung bear traps.
Looking at the team, you’re getting four Ogres. While they’re probably ridiculously good at slamming into things, they can’t be everywhere at once…where they lack in numbers, their Gnoblars make up for it.
They might be small in size but that just means they’re willing to fight even harder. Tiny but mighty?
Spire Tyrants Revealed For Warcry
Spire Tyrants look to be Archaon’s chosen champions to fight for his glory. With that said, these fighters look to be a mix of the best fighters that Archaon could find.
As far as Warbands go, this looks to be the most diverse one we’ve seen so far. Carrying some humans along with a Bestigor and Dwarf, Archaon hand-picks the warriors that will fight for him in the ring.
Is it just us or does the (possible) leader of the Spire Tyrants look like kind of like a medieval Abaddon?
New 40k Chibis in full Color
There are a few models here that could stand to be hit with some nuln oil. But these are the 40k Chibis we’ve been seeing for a while now in full color!
It looks like GW’s main focus at SPIEL was definitely a healthy dose of their specialist games. With so much on the way, what will you be saving up for? Have you fallen in love with the Corpsegrinder Cult for Necromunda? Which Chibi is going to be sitting on your shelf?
