GW Teases Imperial Knights House Rules

knight hor wal

GW teased the rules for House Raven and Terryn over the weekend. We’ll be taking a look at what they’re getting and see how they compare to the rumored rules from last week!

The Imperial Knight’s rules were spotted on the Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page.

House of Raven Rules

Now reliably hitting on 3s and 4s after advancing is a nice touch when your Knight has something like a Chainsword/Battle cannon loadout. You can soften up the big stuff while you’re running down the table to use that Chainsword.

Everyone knows you can paint your models however you want but for the people that want to follow their Household with the book, here’s the Ravens’ color scheme. They’re donned in red and black with hazard stripes and a split heraldry with a cog and a Mechanicum temple.

House Terryn

Rolling 3D6 when charging or 2D6, when advancing and discarding the lowest, is incredible. This is essentially a Descent of Angels stratagem for Blood Angels without any cost of command points. Pus this can happen more than once in a turn.

knight terryn

Painted in blue with a red and white secondary paint scheme, Terryn is the House of swiftness and speed. Favoring Knights that want to get into close combat. The heraldry shows their shield with the imperial eagle and a horse’s head surrounded by wings.

House Griffith

How would you like an Imperial Knight Heroic intervening on you? Talk about a deterrent. This Household trait lets them behave as a character in the sense that they can make heroic interventions. On top of this they get +1 attack after a heroic intervention or charge. If you want to keep a model safe, put him underneath a Griffith knight. No one will want to charge them.

Wearing Tan colors with a red and blue secondary paint job, the Griffith heraldry has a Dragon rampant with the Imperial Eagle on the other half. Two axes, wings, and a helmet crest on the top of the shield.

It looks like our rules and rumors post from earlier last week is holding up. We had accurate information about the Ravens and Terryn and now we just have to wait for more Knights to be revealed. Don’t miss the latest on the Imperial Knight release, below:

The walking Baneblades are here! Come see the latest pics that were just spotted for the dual Valiant and Castellan Imperial Knight kit that look to be packing some serious heat. Imperial Knights 2018 Release We already know there are GIANT FREAKING ROBOTS on the way with their very own codex from the announcement at Adepticon this year. Knight Castellan  Rumors: Scanner has been hinting there may be a lot more meat to the Imperial Knights codex that people have been expecting. However, these are just rumors of what may be on the way rules-wise for the Imperial Knights in 8th Edition: TEN Knight datasheets Freeblades  4 new Knight kits coming!! Dual Dominus Class model kit is bigger than existing Knight. Codex fixes two problems with the Armiger 9 houses for the knights New Knight House Rules Rumors Knight Points Change Rumors Sir Hekhtur & Canis Rex Knight Character Rules Rumors Sir Hekhtur & Canis Rex Knight images New Armiger & Dock Pics Spotted   New Knight Images These were just spotted on imgur, and are already making the rounds.   Apparently the new dual kit will be bigger than the Knights we know now. From the hip joints, the positioning of the legs, and the forced perspective of these two knights it looks like the Valiant is indeed bigger than the Errant behind it. Is this the flame arm from the rumors we heard last week?  Ouch. if the rumors are true this harpoon packs a wallop with 10 damage 3+ improvable both INV & regular save, 28 wounds, T8 you can field 3 of these in an 1850 army (barely). If this pans out to be true that's a pretty HUGE rollout of the new Castellan kit. Wow, a walking Baneblade, who's in on this one? No "official" word on the release date for Imperial Knights, however, we know the new Rogue Trader box is on the horizon, as well as Age of Sigmar 2.0 for June.  Sources have told us the Knight Codex will drop by the middle of June. Are you looking forward to the upcoming Imperial Knight Codex and some GIANT FREAKING ROBOTS? • Krast: RR hits when charging, charged, or via Heroic Intervention against TITAN keyword
  • Vulker: Rerolls 1’s when targeting the closest enemy unit during the shooting phase.
