Do not miss this one! GW just confirmed Imperial Knights and 11 new releases for them including the very first Warscroll cards available separately!
Imperial Knights 2018 Release
We already know there are GIANT FREAKING ROBOTS on the way with their very own codex from the announcement at Adepticon this year. Today Games Workshop teased 10 new releases for the Imperial Knights as well.
Here’s the new releases that are on deck, and their rumored rules so far:
Knight Castellan Dual Dominus Class model kit is bigger than existing Knight.
Knight Valliant: Castellan & Valiant Pics Spotted
Knight Armiger: Codex fixes two problems with the Armiger
For the first time in 40k we have a separate offering of Warscroll cards (The first ones appeared in the Adeptus Custodes collectors set). Hopefully, the layout is better than the first Age of Sigmar ones which left unusable gaps inside of the margins.
Very excited for these cards to become a regular offering!
New Collectors dice are on the way as well with the Knight helm on the “6” spot!
Datacards are still a staple as there are quite a few stratagems rumored to be in this book!
A new combat gauge will be released alongside the Knights as well to help you maximize their combat effiecent during assaults.
Plus it looks like 2016’s Renegade box set is getting an update to 8th Edition, with some of the new Sector Mechanicus terrain as well. This was previously $200 retail. What do you think it will be going for now?
For those of you that missed it the first time, Imperial Knights: Renegade is a boxed game that pits two Knights against one another in epic combat. As well as being a great game in its own right, the set costs much less than buying two Knights on their own, AND even features some scenery – we’ve swapped out the older Sector Imperialis stuff for a shiny new Galvanic Magnavent. This kit’s a pretty appealing option for Chaos players too, as you’ll be able to field both Knights inside as Renegades using the rules in Index: Chaos. Handy!
The rumored Knight Dock has been designated the Sacristan Forgeshrine, and will also be coming to a store shelf near you very soon.
All these new products and of course the codex itself is on deck for release from Games Workshop. So overall, adding in the two versions of the codex plus the Knight Preceptor, we have 11 new releases coming soon for the Imperial Knights faction!
