If you want to score a free Space Marine miniature from Games Workshop, the promotion starts very soon- check it out!
GW has been running the free miniature and coin promotion since November 2020, and this time, you can score a free Sternguard Veteran! We often see some so-so models, but getting a Free Sternguard Space Marine is awesome!
If you want the coin, though, you’ll have to spend $100 to get it, but all you have to do is walk in and ask for the free miniature.
Currently, there are also free Stormcast and Space Marines miniatures for new players so that you can bring a friend to the store, and they can grab a free model, too!
Warhammer Community just unveiled the latest new collectible coin promotion and free GW miniature, so if you want the coin for October, save up at least $100 to spend.
Games Workshop does one of these promotions monthly (more or less), and the collectible coins are generally based on that month’s new releases. Also, collecting at least six coins can score you a nice little binder to hold them in.

GW’s Free Space Marine Promotion Starts Soon
Codex: Space Marinesis currently available for pre-order alongside new kits, including multipart Sternguard Veterans. You can claim a push-fit version of one of these long-serving warriors by heading to your local Warhammer store from the 14th of October and asking a staff member how you can get one, while stocks last.
From the sounds of it, this miniature will be a push-fit Sternguard, perhaps like the ones we saw in the Leviathan box. Either way, it will be nice to get a new Primaris model to test your paint schemes on, and there are some really cool minis in the multi-part Sternguard box.
We expect these to go really fast, so if you want one, try to get there early on the 14th. Considering that it’s this weekend (Saturday), be sure to tell the family you have something very important to do!
While they won’t believe you won’t be spending money, at least you’ll get a free mini while you are there… However, if you want more than just the mini, there is a Terminator Coin this month as well.
New Crux Terminatus Space Marines Coin
This month’s collectable coin bears the Crux Terminatus, the emblem worn by every Space Marine Terminator, and said to contain a fragment of the Emperor’s armour. The coin will be available from the 7th of October, while stocks last. Just ask your store staff how you can get yours.
The coins will be a little desynced this time, meaning you might have to take two trips to the store to grab these (if you want the free mini and the coin). This is pretty cool, and if you’re a fan of the new Terminators, this is the perfect compliment! Again, though, this is already out, so be sure to ask if there are coins left before you spend $100 expecting the coin, but if you spend less than $100, let us know your secrets!
Free AoS & 40k Minis
From the looks of it, Games Workshop has added an Infernus model to the free lineup if you bring a friend.
While you’re popping into a Warhammer store for your Miniature of the Month or collectable coin, why not take the opportunity to introduce your friends and family to the Warhammer hobby?
They’ll be able to choose a free push-fit miniature – either a Stormcast Eternal or an Infernus Marine – and they can then learn how to paint it, and even play their first game of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
Don’t forget; if you bring a friend to your local Warhammer Store, they can also get a miniature to hobby on!
