There is an easy way to get the Grey Knights Supreme Grand Master Kaldor Draigo to turn Primaris, and we all know it.
Grey Knights are being called in by the Dark Angels to help see what’s going on with the Thousand Sons in Psychic Awakening: Ritual of the Damned. But while all of these current events are going down, is there a possibility that we see a Primaris Draigo? Maybe hitting the tabletop in Gravis Armor?
How To Get Kaldor Draigo To Turn Primaris
Right now, Draigo is floating around somewhere in the Warp, probably stomping mudholes in Nurgle’s Garden and eating all of Slaanesh’s food unscathed because plot armor. And with the Rubicon Primaris still in its experimental stages as well as Chapters only having limited access to it (it’s still new tech, but steadily growing), Draigo may be out of the possibility of having a chance to get transformed.
Now, you might be thinking of two possible ways that the Imperium can get to Draigo and turn him into a Primaris super soldier and one of those ways is totally wrong…
The Wrong Way of Turning Him Primaris
Obviously, the wrong way of turning him into a Primaris warrior would be to just launch a Rubicon Primaris machine shaped like the Doctor Who phone booth into the warp. While Draigo might find it, the chances of Chaos grabbing a hold of it is almost a 100% certainty and the next thing you know, you’ve got super Warp spawns like Primaris Daemonettes, Primaris Chaos Marines, and Primaris Santa Claus.
It’s just bad for everyone involved.
The Right Way of Turning Him Primaris
The purely more logical method of getting a hold of Draigo to beef him up would be to carry a fleet of ships near the Eye of Terror. Have a Primaris Rubicon in plain sight (preferably on an open deck of a ship). All the Imperium would have to do is sprinkle a little Warp Dust on the floor of the Rubicon with the door open and wait.
Give it a few minutes and you should have a crazed Psychic Terminator shooting out of the warp faster than the time it takes for a World Eaters player to go through their shooting phase. Then boom, Primaris Draigo thanks Flash Gitz.
But Seriously Could He Actually be Primaris’d?
While nothing is impossible for GW, given the fact that he’s in the Warp and we’ve already seen the Dark Angels Primaris character, Lazarus revealed, we probably won’t see a Primaris Draigo.
Especially combined with the fact that GW has basically suplexed these guys into submission through multiple FAQs in 8th.
What do you think about a Primaris Draigo? Would you like to see the entire Primaris line come to the Grey Knights? Or does it make sense that they wouldn’t have access to Primaris because of their secrecy?
