Kill Team Rogue Trader got some previews this morning at the European Warhammer Fest. Let’s see what the latest pics look like for this game.

From the previous Rogue Trader teasers, we know that the scary mutant creatures were actually a part of Nurgle’s many blessings and the game will take place on a ship called The New Dawn.

There’s also some more info spotted at the latest Warhammer Fest, so let’s break down the newest teasers:

In case you missed our latest preview post, you can check it out now.

The latest pics had some small snapshots of the book that gave the backstory of the game and put the player in the setting. Basically, the ships’ Geller field generator became possessed with a Warp entity and it decided he wanted to crash the party.

The Warp entity infected some of the crew with a techno-virus. Starting with the engine master, he became infected and his body ended up absorbing his two crew members.

Ultimately, the sickness ended up spreading to other parts of the ship until a real fighting force was gathered by Rogue Traders on the ship to try and contain the Warp Virus.

Let’s take a look at what we may be calling these units and characters. Remember to take this with a grain of salt as nothing has been official just yet.

New 40k Kill Team & Rogue Trader Starter Set Previews

Games Workshop just dropped more teasers for the next round of Kill Team releases at Warhammer Fest Europe. Now it looks like the questions we were asking before on our other articles have finally been answered. Kill Team: Rogue Trader IS and expansion to the Kill Team we know and love now.

Kill Team: Rogue Trader is a massive expansion to Kill Team that has something for every kind of player. Kill Team has offered us the chance to explore the 41st Millennium in ways that were never previously possible, with its intimate, ground-level scale letting us peek into the darker corners of the lore.

At its core, the set is an adventure that pits Rogue Trader Elucia Vhane against a fiendish strain of mutants in a series of narrative missions. You’ll be able to use both kill teams in your campaigns and matched play missions, with a set of datasheets and points values for each.

You’ll even be able to use both teams in your games of Warhammer 40,000, giving you yet another use for these stunning models.

This will essentially be a Kill Team box set that will have models you’ll be able to use in large-scale games of 40k. Does that mean Rogue Traders will be getting updated data sheets in the future?

Speaking of Kill Team looks like two new starters and one Kill Zone are on the way soon as well.

As for now, it looks like we still don’t have an official release date for the game or the new Kill Team releases. Hopefully, we’ll see some data sheets in the future for the models coming inside. Be on the lookout for even more previews in the future.

Keep it locked here for more coverage, and check out all the pictures from the event below:
