It looks like Games Workshop may have just confirmed a new Constantin Valdor model for the Legio Custodes will be coming to the Horus Heresy next week.

If you have been waiting with bated breath for a model of the most bad ass Custode of them all, Valdor, you may not have to wait much longer.

According to a preview for next weekend’s Horus Heresy / Necromunda weekender, Valdor will be part of a painting presentation.  Here is what was spotted on the studio guest lineup announcement for the event:

Notice the last line: “Painting Constantin Valdor of the Custodian Guard”.

So it appears from this preview, that the missing HQ may be making his appearance finally for 30k next weekend!

Just how bad ass is Valdor? According to lore Valdor, with a contingent of elite Custodian Guard, fought alongside Russ and the Space Wolves on Prospero. He and his forces were responsible for killing at least three of the greatest psykers of the Thousand Sons and routing a force much more numerous than their own.

After Horus declared his rebellion, Valdor then oversaw the mission and deployment of the first ever execution team. Invited by the Master of Assassins, one of the High Lords of Terra whose secret identity was Malcador The Sigillite Valdor oversaw the council of Assassins. Each clade- Venenum, Eversor, Culexus, Vanus, Callidus, and led by Vindicare selected a single alpha-dan operative for the mission. The target was Horus Lupercal.

Perhaps we’ll also see kits for the Custodes Hateron Guard that are also in Book VII: Inferno as well.
