The Boys are back in town, Austin and Juice are going at it again with Tanks and Titans with a side of Legion of the Damned but the question is; is Pask clutch enough to drop three titans?
Austin: I love the steel host, the preferred enemy bubble is enemy. I’ve never run 7 Leman Russes, but I have the item from Mont’ka that gives everyone the ability to split fire.
Juice: Those are lumbering behemoths but now one order and all of them get it? That’s crazy. It’ll be cool to see him issuing orders to everyone. I brought all three big boys from Forge World and legion of the damned.
In turn 1 the tanks unload their ammunition into the knights but fail to take down a Knight. The Wyverns unleash the purge; which turns the terrain around the Knights into dangerous terrain and making those knights Initiative 1 if they assault.
Juice: I played it safe because we had a lot of line of sight blocking ruins, I didn’t want to roll my knights too deep and give one of them up right away.
Turn 2
Austin: I’m feeling lucky, my Wyverns come in on turn 2. We’re table to take down the Atropos but the other two are still coming.
Juice: The Legion of the damned come in and take down Pask. The Knight Lancer makes it into combat and starts smashing tanks.
Turn 3
The tanks return fire and take down the Knight Lancer
Austin: I was able to get two of Juice’s legion squads and a titan so I’m feeling pretty good about that turn.
Juice: The knight was able to come down and take down two of the rapier batteries and the legion put two hull points onto the wyvern.
Turn 4 and 5
Austin: Juice did as much damage as humanly possible so I need to clean up the legion. Because of the objectives and the scoring I’m moving my tanks into scoring position and out of line of sight of the last remaining titan.
Juice: I made my moves; I did all I could do to make the game work for me. If you want to see the full post game recap you’ll have to join us as a Veteran of the Long War.
