New World Eaters 40k codex points values leaks have been spotted, but these could easily be the latest in a string of fake rumors…
Everyone loves a good rumor, but these are a little suspicious looking, and while we all want to know more about the upcoming World Eaters 40k codex, these may not really be something to go on, at least in our opinion.

RUMORS: World Eaters Codex Points Values
These come from the r/warhammer40k in clear violation of rule 2, “DO NOT post point values for weapons and upgrades in your army lists.”
We’ll show you what we think is off about them. Again though, there is always the chance they are right, but that seems pretty small judging from the content itself and commenters…
What looked like a potential hoax is starting to have a bit more credibility with the Grand Narrative Finale preview now.
So let’s check out some of the issues:
- The font looks off and not correct to what GW uses.
- There are no generic HQs, only named HQs etc.
- This is a PDF and not a real picture (like a picture of the book).
- Master of Executions is not in the right slot (this could just be a change in the new book).
- Jakhals are probably a cultist-type unit, but this doesn’t really fit in with anything we have seen.
- The unique units are all just kind of strange.
- Angron is really cheap compared to other Chaos armies.
- We thought they might have Red Butchers, but while there is no guarantee on that, it is concerning
- Angrons points seem “low”
So, as we said, there could still be plenty off on this one, so we wouldn’t take this for a fact just quite yet.
Fake Warhammer 40k Leaks
It’s annoying to see people putting out fake leaks. Heck, there is even a satirical guide on how to do it (which is actually pretty funny here on Woehammer).
Sometimes these leaks are seemingly even just to chastize Spikey Bits after every other site ran them before us (which is just another bad look for the job the volunteer mod on r/warhammer40k does, if you ask us).
But hey, rumors are fun, and it’s always cool to see leaks, except when they seem to be a little sus or “holier than thou,” so to speak…
Just remember, take all Warhammer 40k new rules, rumors, and model leaks (like World Eaters) with as much salt as you need!
