the-years-best-rumors-2020These were the top 10 hottest rumors of the year according to you! Some were right, some were wrong, let’s check them out.

There was a lot to speculate on this year, and speculating on what’s coming is always fun! Some of the rumors were right, some were dead wrong but hey, that what makes this hobby fun sometimes…

Let’s dive into the top ten rumors of the year!

10) RUMORS: 9th Edition 40k Indomitus Box Set Price Cost!

indomitus box 9th Edition 40k box setThis one was more of a detective price hunt, but we were actually pretty close! Originally we did a direct conversion from Pounds to USD for the guess but later said the prices aren’t usually a 1-to-1 conversion. So we settled on a price from $170-200. The original price was $200, so we’ll say this was a spot on rumor!

9) RUMORS: New 40k Model Releases With 9th Codex Books

new-gw-codex-releasesWe actually got three out of the four upcoming releases right for this one! Not too shabby, when you’re guessing, a solid C isn’t too bad of a grade. We’re 2 for 2 so far, but don’t worry there are some wrong ones in here.

8) RUMORS: Warhammer New Release Roadmap For 2020

new releases warhammer 40k games workshop communityThere was a lot to cover in this one since it was from the very beginning of the year and all the Psychic Awakening books hadn’t been released. Most of the rumors in this one panned out like the War of the Spider Book and the Sons of Behemat battletome.

7) Psychic Awakening Pariah: Silent King & New Necrons RUMORS

necrons hor walThe rumors for Szeras and The Silent King were actually first revealed on Dakkadakka. We can’t take any credit on this one, but they were spot on with the prediction!

6) New Necron 40k Models & More 9th Edition RUMORS!

9th-edition-necronsThis bit was all based around the idea that they were taking away the green plastic rods, and that every mini that had them was getting an update. This one was pretty spot on.

Well, January isn’t here yet, but this looks like it was a true tin foil hat moment! This was one of the most fun to speculate on though.

2) RUMORS: Primaris Necrons Incoming?

necron wal horThis one was a little off, while there were a bunch of new and big minis for the Necrons, the Primaris idea didn’t really come to fruition depending on how you look at it…
