New GW previews are coming on Warhammer Day for 40k, Kill Team, Warhammer Old World, AoS and the exclusive miniature!
This preview is actually at a pretty normal time for most of the world, which is quite different from the latest previews they have put out! We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about the games involved, so we at least have some educated guesses for what to expect!
So, if you play any of the games on the list, you’ll hopefully get a lot of attention, considering this is the 40th Anniversary preview!
New GW Previews Announced Warhammer 40k, Kill Team, Old World, & More!
The latest on the Warhammer Day GW Preview and exclusive miniature comes from Warhammer Community.
This parade of awesome articles will culminate on Saturday with an extra-special live reveal show on the Warhammer Twitch Channel. Things kick off at 2pm BST, and there’s a real welter of stuff to unveil: new books and miniatures for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, a new box and a new faction for Kill Team, and big news for Warhammer: The Old World.
The last few previews have been quite late at night, so it’s nice to finally see one coming at a somewhat average time here in the States, unless you live on the West Coast, as you might have to get up early!
We’ve already seen the Warhammer Day exclusive mini, but we’ll check that out and then jump into what to expect in the preview.
Warhammer Day 2023 Exclusive 40k Miniature
The Ancestors’ Wrath is an Einhyr Champion standing at ease, bearing a stag crest on her armour that’s mirrored by a motif on her shield. She also has a choice of three different heads – helmeted, lifted visor, and bare.
The Einhyr Champion is already a fantastic model, but having a different pose you can throw down on the table is always nice! They also mention you can pre-order this, just like last year’s, meaning you won’t have to go to the event to grab it, which is great for everyone!
Warhammer 40k Possibilites
Ad Mech and Necrons are the next two armies with codexes coming up, so it would only make sense for GW to show something off for these two armies.
If you remember, in 9th Edition, when two books came out at basically the same time, they would release a box set with some new minis for both armies. From the sounds of it, they will be doing the same thing in 10th Edition from now on.
The latest rumors were saying there would be at least one new mini for Ad Mech and up to four for Necrons.
New Kill Team Box
We’ve heard rumors about new Striking Scorpions for a long time, and with Howling Banshees getting one in 2019, there is some precedence. As for the other side of the box, people seem to be split on Catachans and Scouts.
Plus, the models are also ancient that we have now, and they could be some of the coolest out there! If you want to read all the rumors about new Kill Team relases, you can check them out here!
Old World Reveals
First, we saw this drawing back at the Warhammer Fest Preview, and we never saw the actual mini, so don’t be surprised to see more Tomb Kings models this weekend!
Next up, a bunch of Bretonnians are promised, so maybe we’ll finally see a launch-style box with the new rules announced, or maybe just more minis. Or, if we’re insanely lucky, an actual release date for the game!
AoS Possibilities
GW put out the roadmap, and we’ve already seen the new Dawnbringers book and the Orruks. After that, we have another battletome en route and another Dawnbringers book. While they haven’t released too much about it, we’ve heard some rumblings about Death armies.
