From the sounds of it, there will be new 40k Necrons and Ad Mech models when the codex books drop, along with new box sets as well!
Obviously, these are rumors, but Games Workshop did say at the beginning of 10th that they would drop at least one new model for each army when their codex comes along. So, while these should still be taken with salt, they aren’t anything too crazy.
Unfortunately for Ad Mech players, it sounds like there will just be one new model this time around (but it does sound interesting.) However, Necrons will be getting a much bigger release.

RUMORS: New 40k Necrons & Ad Mech Models/Box Sets on the Way!
All the new 40k Necrons, Ad Mech models, and box set rumors come from Valrak.
To start, these are the next two armies with codexes coming up.
If you remember, in 9th Edition, when two books came out at basically the same time, they would release a box set with some new minis for both armies. From the sounds of these rumors, they will be doing the same thing in 10th Edition going forward.
Now, let’s jump into what each army will get according to the latest rumors.
Obviously, these are not the new model…
Lately, GW has been leaning on the steampunk vibe, and the new model should fit right in. From the rumors, Ad Mech will only get one new model, and it will be a generic HQ model on stilts of some kind. Maybe something like the legs of the Ruststalkers, or maybe much bigger, more like the Ironstrider.
Other than that, we heard it will have a sniper rifle, maybe like a super powerful radium jezail. There is not much info on the actual stats of the weapon. We’ll have to see, but it sounds exciting and might let you pick off enemy characters.
Necrons are getting much more, starting with Imotekh the Stormlord. The current model is quite old, and there is so much lore about him, that it would be an easy character for GW to update! This also gives a good way for GW to move the lore along.
Orikan The Diviner
They really kept the feel of the old model (which only makes sense since it’s a named character) but updated the look for not only a new edition but also finally in plastic. Let’s be honest; not many people are fans of Finecast.
Next is Orikan the Diviner, another decently old model and an easy update for GW.
The final release for Necrons will be a more generic HQ character, but there isn’t a ton of info on whether it will be a new Lord or something bigger…
New Kill Team Box
Considering Scouts weren’t in the pre-orders for Space Marines this week, it sounds like they will come out in a box with the rumored new Striking Scorpions.
