Tons of pictures and prices on all kinds of releases set in the Horus Heresy, but also usable in Warhammer 40k have been revealed at the weekender event.
Hobby Hero Garro, is at the event and snapping shots of everything that’s going down. Let’s go over the prices of the newest things Forge World has to offer that were spotted on display.
Civitas District Warzone Delta & Gamma £80 ea.
Forge World has been working on more 2×2 tiles for Adeptus Titanicus called the Warzone Delta and Warzone Gamma. Warzone Delta is keeping the theme of most Titanicus boards. Open and hostile.
As for Warzone Gamma, it’s more of a choke-point. The sides of the tile look to be blocked off by buildings almost forcing both players down a narrow street towards each other.
Ordinatus Aktaeus £325
The Ordinatus Akteus is finally up for sale at the event as an early-release exclusive.
This is a project Forge World has been upfront about for a while now. We first saw it during a live stream as one of the models coming to 30k. This behemoth can transport squads up into key spots of the battlefield from underneath all of the carnage.
Dreadnought Drop Pod £65
This one’s a little difficult to see, but the Lucius-pattern Dreadnought Drop Pod is back! Years ago, the equipment needed for this bad boy broke and left the market dry. Stumbling across one of these things was a pretty rare thing that most people didn’t pass up. However, now, they’re up as an early-release exclusive!
Hvarl Redblade £45
Hvarl’s first preview was back in 2018 when he was revealed on Christmas Eve. He’s the newest Space Wolf character with an underslung Heavy Bolter and a Power Axe coming to 30k.
Custodes Venatari £40
The Venatari are the Custode’s newest model. They often hang out in the spire-tops of the Imperial Palace surveying all actions from above until the time is right to strike. Venatari may only have shields and a spear as a close combat weapon, but they most certainly aren’t pushovers. The guns do most of the heavy lifting as well.
Night Lords Leviathan £76
The Night Lords got their own kind of Leviathan showcasing a Guardsman stapled to its chest. Because what better way is there to strike fear into the enemy than to chain up the left-over corpse of their best friend.
Night Lords Praetors £25 & £21 Ea.
Coming with exclusive chain weaponry, these Praetors are decked out with just the right wargear meant to prey on the enemy’s worst fears- Being ripped to shreds.
Night Lords Dice £21
The Night Lords finally have their own bat-winged dice to keep players rolling in style. 30k is a game with a lot of shots so you might need to grab two or three of these dice packs!
Blood Angels Crimson Paladins £60
We saw these previewed a while back with Forge World’s Aktaeus. These guys are like the slow-moving, more tanky version of the Sanguinary Guard. Make no mistake, these guys are geared for getting up close and personal with every model having a melee weapon.
Black Book Malevolence Pre-Order £105
What kind of importance does Malevolence have exactly? Well, it’s going to serve as a huge plot advancement for 30k. The Blood Angels and White Scars are going to be looked at with their involvement in Signus Prime and Chondax!
Unfortunately no copies were on hand for sale at the weekender, so hopefully, the extra time will allow for fewer errors in the book itself this release. Tons of errors from rules to even the photoshop work seemed to overshadow the release of book VII Inferno years ago.
They did have a small teaser preview flyer that they were giving out that looks promising for sure:
First Captain of the Blood Angels Legion
White Scars Captain of the Keshig
All in all, the Horus Heresy Weekender is already looking to be bursting at the seams with new models and more! What do you think about the pricing of these releases? What unit are you the most excited about? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
