Games Workshop Re-Opening US Warehouse This Week

Open-for-BusinessAhead of an official announcement Games Workshop looks to be re-opening their US warehouse, as they could be preparing to ramp up operations for May!

Before we jump into this, remember that the GW warehouses here in the states, as well as Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada (ships out of the US) are still officially closed indefinitely and have no set date on when they’ll open.

We saw them asking for orders from retailers here in the states recently, and now it looks like they may just be fulfilling them this week…

GW mentioned recently to retailers that they still don’t know when their warehouses would be up and running again (to which they said there would be at least a two-week delay getting new orders out the door). So to help businesses prepare and get a jumpstart on their inventory restocks and sales, GW is starting accepting orders that’ll ship when things are operational once again.

The success of this pilot, and of course how the COVID-19 situation develops, will determine whether more open back up in the short term.

On top of that, we could be seeing select GW stores re-open in a modified way soon here too, just as they are around the globe.
