Four big rumors exist about the new 40k World Eaters codex and how Blood Tithe, Berzerkers, and Eightbound rules will work!
Before we start, these are rumors, so take them with as much salt as you need. Some even contradict some of the current rumors a little, but this could easily be an example of one playtest version to another. Either way, nothing is 100% until it is confirmed by GW.
However, these rumors do cover some pretty big units in the codex, so if they are true, it would mean huge things for the book. Let’s take a closer look!
RUMORS: New 40k World Eaters Codex Rules
These rumors come from Auspex Tactics.
He said these are different from recent rumors, but if they are true, we’ll know a lot more about the upcoming codex!
Being able to get an extra move when being shot at is huge! Especially if there is cover nearby, you could get them behind something and still end closer. Obviously, just rampaging toward the enemy is also acceptable. Considering they are always on the move, doing actions will be tough, so having them autocomplete is nice.
Then, charging further is almost always something Berzerkers will want to do, so a great stratagem.
We already saw the statline, but being placed in reserved is far worse than moving, so we’ll have to see which rumor is true, but hopefully, the one where they get a free move! Deepstriking them is nice, but we’ll have to wait and see their charge shenanigans.
It could be tough if they just have to roll on two dice with no modifiers.
As we saw already, GW basically said you could revive him, so no big surprise there. Then, how you accrue them makes sense, as the more blood spilled, the better. Khorne doesn’t care who it is! Lastly, all the benefits are really good, and if you combine them with Angron, he becomes even better.
Think about this; if he gets +1 on the charge and +1 from this, he could be looking at 42 attacks!
Nothing too crazy here as we all but saw Kharn lose the fight twice rule. Then, the Daemon Prince may get more attacks and strength, which are both nice. Overall, some interesting rumors if true; we’ll have to see how they turn out!
