The Adeptus Custodes have a new weapon to field: the mighty Custodes Imperial Knight. Protecting the Emperor from the forces of Chaos has never been easier!
Gadgets + brings us new upgrade options to make an Adeptus Custodes Imperial Knight. All pieces are available separately, come with a schematic for easy placement, and have all the print marks on the inside, so the outside is super smooth.
Here is a sample of our review of the new upgrade pieces. For the complete in-depth review of every piece and how they work on the Imperial Knight, be sure to scroll down and press play on the full video below.
The shoulder guard come with one plain and one with a tabard and lock in place easily with a little slot on the pieces themselves. The detail includes the great swooshes we’ve seen on Adeptus Custodes models as well as cutbacks and other filigree.
- Custodian Guard – Shoulder Guard (plain) $32.46 CAD
- Custodian Guard – Shoulder Guard (banner) $32.45 CAD

Custodian Guard – Face Plate $11.23 CAD
The grieves are slightly elevated and sit slightly elevated above the piston. Putting them on from top down allows for the grieves to easily slide over and sit in place, so no parts of the model are broken. Their filigree and scroll work are similar to what we have seen via Forge World’s Contemptor Dreadnoughts and fit well within the Adeptas Custodes imagery. The front of the grieve shows the adjusted palatine eagle, the Emperor’s personal crest. The knee fan plates slip on easily but may interfere with the normal ones that come with the plastic knight model. Otherwise, they lock into place with no issues.
- Custodian Guard – Shin Plate set $32.46 CAD
- Custodian Guard – Knee Fan-Plate set $9.99 CAD

- Custodian Guard – Toe Guard Set $13.74 CAD
- Custodian Guard – Hip Plates $12.48 CAD
- Custodian Guard – Crotch Plate $9.98 CAD

Custodian Guard – Eagle Claws $13.73 CAD
