Games Workshop quietly yanked the plug on one of the most memed products they have ever put out, and they didn’t exactly give it a hero’s send-off. After months of online dunking and community side eye, it looks like the plan is simple: delete it, move on, and act like it was never real.
No big announcement. No “we hear you.” No graceful exit. It was just gone.

Where GW’s “Good” Products Go To Die
So, where did all the already-made heads go? We saw them in a manifest as part of the enormous “dumpster wars” shipment that made it onto the secondary market. They were just one of many GW products that somehow ended up in the hands of liquidators in the spring of 2023.
The good news is that you can still score them from eBay, and you can quite clearly see the wear and tear they took on the journey from Games Workshop’s warehouse into the “liquidator underground.”
We found the listing for these bits on eBay from several sellers, and we noticed some very interesting details. When the listing went live, they had hundreds of them, which lends weight to the rumors that GW liquidated them as fast as possible. Now, one listing has ended, with a whopping 152 sold.
The seller even mentioned that the package is worn, which would make sense if it were part of the rumored dumpster wars near the US Games Workshop distribution hub in Memphis, Tennessee.
