This one’s built to hit hard and hold the line, packing 20 models that look ready to stomp through anything that blinks at them funny. The catch? It’s just three squads crammed in a box. You get a punchy little force, but don’t expect a ton of variety.
That being said, you can even play this box as is in smaller games of Warhammer 40k with Imperial Fists’ “Combat Patrol rules.”

Is it Worth It?
Of the newer CPs we’ve seen, this is on the lower end of value, and with only a half box of Intercessors, it’s a little lackluster (slightly better than the generic Space Marines one). It doesn’t have the new mini inside, and it only includes three full units and a half squad.
However, if you need everything inside, it is cheaper than buying them separately, but we’re not giving it flying colors by any means.

Well, you have a good mix of troops with this box, but it doesn’t force you into any one style of play. Still, we would grab the new Darnath Lysander, some tanks, and as much heavy firepower as you can grab!
So, while this box is a decent starting point, it is only 450ish points, meaning you’ll still have the vast majority of your army to collect.

So here’s the deal: this box isn’t setting the world on fire.
You’re getting three solid units and half a box of Intercessors. If you’re already planning to run these exact squads, great, you’ll save a few bucks and skip the cart math.
If not, there are much stronger Combat Patrols out there that’ll stretch your cash and your collection further. The Imperial Fists might hold the line, but this box isn’t breaking new ground. Grab it if you love yellow and stubborn objectives.
