necron wal horEven more new 9th Edition 40k Necron rules datasheets have been spotted since our last roundup, so check out all the latest updates so far.

From all over the web, we’ve been seeing some of the new 9th Edition Necron rules that are on the way for their big codex release this October. There have been some nerfs here and there, but overall, it looks like Necrons are making out even better than before.

Here are all the datasheets we know about.

Immortals

Necron Immortals Reformat

necron immortal datasheet changesLooking at the Immortals, they’ve just been straight up buffed. The changes include:

  • +1 Toughness (now T5).
  • +1 Attack.
  • +6″ Range on Gauss Blaster.

Deathmarksdeathmark

  • +1 Toughness (now T5).
  • Synaptic Disintegrator now Heavy 1 36″ S5 -2AP 1 Damage (way better) .

Triarch Stalker

triarch stalker 1

triarch stalker statlineThe degrading hasn’t changed at all from the Stalker currently. But looking at what has been updated:

  • +2 Wounds.
  • Twin Heavy Gauss Cannon is now S7 -3 D3 damage.

  • Heat Ray has two basic profiles as before except now with 12″ range.

  • Massive Forelimbs are now a whopping -2AP 3 flat damage.

  • Particle Shredder gets +2 shots, loses a Strength value, but flat two damage (essentially anti-Space Marine).

Wraiths

Canoptek Wraiths

wraith updateFrom what we can see, Wraiths got:

  • -1 Weapon Skill.
  • -1 Ballistic Skill.
  • -2 Strength (although the vicious claws had +1 Strength added to their weapon profile).
  • +1 Attack.
  • +1 Armor Save.
  • Particle Caster now 2 shots instead of 1.
  • Transdimensional Beamer now 1 shot at S6 -3 AP 3 Damage (totally different from its current profile).
  • Whip Coils now do 1 damage and only have -1AP (nerfed from -2AP 2 Damage).

Ghost Ark/Doomsday Ark Updates

ghostarknew01

Necron doomsday ghost ark datasheetWe’ve got the stats of Necron’s Dedicated Transport and widely popular Heavy Support. The good news is that it looks like there haven’t been any major changes aside from the Doomsday Ark and Ghost Ark getting +1 Armor Save It’s a small buff but a buff nonetheless. If you were holding off on picking up a couple of these kits, you can rest easy knowing that those units are going to remain steady even after the codex.

Night Scythe/ Doom Scythe Updates

doom scythe

necron doom scythe night scythe datasheetFor the Doom Scythe, it had:

  • Its maximum movement range decreased by 10″ across the board from 50/40/30. This makes sense because of the smaller game tables anyway.
  • The Tesla Destructor got a massive buff going from Assault 4 to Heavy 10 and 36″.
  • For the Death Ray, GW took out a little bit of the swinginess that comes from random D6 profiles and made it D3+3 flat damage. They also gave it +2 Strength.

Moving onto the Night Scythe, here’s what’s changed:

  • Maximum movement range also decreased by 10″ across the board from 50/40/30
  • Tesla Destructor profile buffed to Heavy 10 and 36″ again.

Necron Tomb Blades

tomb blade

necron tomb blade updated datasheetSo the Tomb Blade statline looks unchanged. We can’t see the Movement characteristic but right now it sits at a solid 14″. As for wargear, this is where all of the changes have taken place and they’re all for the better. Here are the tweaks:

  • Gauss Blaster +6″ Range and now Rapid Fire 2.
  • Particle Beamer -6″ Range and now Assault 6 (+3 shots).
  • Tesla Carbine now Assault 4 (+2 shots).

The Technomancer (New Named Cryptek Class)

Most of you probably know this guy as a Cryptek with a Canoptek Cloak (which basically gives him a 10″ move and Fly). However, coming from this image posted by Joe on B&C we’ve got a pic of this dude’s updated datasheet sporting a new name.

cryptek datasheetAs far as the unit’s basic stats go, it looks completely unchanged. But that new Technomancer nametag shows that GW is differentiating the different types of Crypteks with special titles. Just something to note!

Overall, the Wraiths may have gotten the shortest end of the stick after looking at all of the changes. But we’ll have to see what kinds of rules change on these units as well. Remember, all we’re seeing in these updated IKEA style datasheets are the basic unit and wargear profiles.
