New Marvel Crisis Protocol Characters Release Dates!

marvel-crisis-protocol-revised-release-datesAll the new Marvel Crisis Protocol release dates are here for 12 new Character Expansions and terrain kits that are on the way!

AMG’s Crisis Protocol has a worldwide player base, which means sometimes different regions have different release schedules. Luckily for us 12 of the newest expansions just got their US release dates confirmed via AMG’s Twitter.

First up we’ve got two packs coming out on November 12th.

CP33 – Dormammu $79.95

Dormammu ultimate encounter

Dormammu is the ruler of the Dark Dimension, an intersection of dimensions and realities that defies the laws of nature. He is one of the Faltine, an enigmatic race of beings made of pure mystical energy. Dormammu possesses patience that can be measured in eons; he has intelligence beyond reckoning and command of mystic arts to match. Dormammu is an arrogant tyrant, seeing himself as nothing less than a god. He is the most imposing foe of Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange and represents a threat to entire realms as he absorbs other universes into his own, expanding his worship among any who seek to invoke his vast powers.

You may remember Dormamu as part of a huge preview early this year… And you’d be right! Check out our coverage of that for a refresher here.

blade and moon knight box

Born while the vampire Deacon Frost fed on his mother, Eric Brooks had a portion of the vampiric condition passed on to him. He uses the abilities of this infection to destroy vampires as Blade, a super-powered hunter who possesses the strengths of vampire kind while having none of their weaknesses.

Marc Spector is Moon Knight, the “Fist of Khonshu.” On an archaeological expedition in Egypt, Spector uncovered a temple to the ancient Moon God, Khonshu. Betrayed and left for dead, the god gave Spector a second chance at life as Moon Knight, a supernatural crime-fighter with powers tied into the cycles of the moon.

If you want to check out our previous coverage of Blade and Moon Knight you can check the post here.

Moving forward the rest of these release dates are for kits that will all release on December 10th in the US. Starting with Doctor Strange, Clea, Doctor Voodoo, Hood, Mordo, Ancient One, and the Sanctum Sanctorum, which were all part of the same preview as Dormamu earlier this year.

CP67 – Doctor Strange & Clea $39.95

Marvel Crisis Protocol: Doctor Strange & Clea Character Pack

Stephen Strange has had many unusual encounters, but none have tested him so much as losing his connection to the arcane power of Earth. Without his magical mastery, Stephen Strange was forced to seek out new allies and a new source of power beyond the boundaries of earth. Only then could he reclaim the title of Sorcerer Supreme.

Clea is a powerful sorceress and the disciple of Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange. Once she inhabited the Dark Dimension, the home to the ancient evil Dormammu. Doctor Strange pulled Clea into Earth, where she learned the mystical arts from him, becoming nearly the equal of the Sorcerer Supreme in her control over magic.

As one of the main Marvel characters, this pack, in particular, is probably going to be popular because of the name alone.

CP65 – Doctor Voodoo & Hood $49.95

Doctor voodoo and hood

When Doctor Jericho Drumm returned to his home in Haiti, he discovered his brother had become the Houngan Supreme, a practitioner of voodoo and protector of the people. The Houngan Supreme was dying from a curse laid by a rival sorcerer, but before he died he passed his mantle onto Jericho, making him Doctor Voodoo. Combining magic and voodoo, he battles powerful otherworldly villains as an avenger of the supernatural.

Parker Robbins was a petty criminal until he clashed with a Nisanti demon and took its mystical cloak. The cloak endowed him with powerful magical abilities, allowing him to rise as a dangerous crime lord and sorcerer. He assumed the identity of the Hood, a villain who uses his power of flight and invisibility to gather other criminals under his leadership.

This kit actually comes with 3 models instead of the typical 2, so there is a slight price increase to compensate.

CP64 – Mordo & Ancient One $39.95

Mordo and Ancient One

Baron Karl Mordo learned his impressive magical ability by training with the Ancient One. He has long been one of Doctor Strange’s greatest foes. Baron Mordo has consorted with darker powers like Dormammu and the demon Mephisto in his efforts to destroy the Ancient One and the Sorcerer Supreme.

Born more than 500 years ago, the Ancient One was a mortal inhabitant of Kamar-Taj, a hidden mountain village. The Ancient One learned how to unlock the mystical power of the universe to work magic. Having seen firsthand the dangers of magic if used for personal gain, the Ancient One became the first Sorcerer Supreme. As one of the most powerful magic wielders in the world, the Ancient One has sworn to protect the world against evil magic and those who use it.

Sanctum Sanctorum

Contained within the walls of the Sanctum Sanctorum is the most extraordinary collection of occult objects and supernatural phenomena in existence. The New York residence of Doctor Stephen Strange, the Sanctum has long been a place of mystical power. It stands on a focal point for ley lines, the veins of magical energy that run through the Earth, and its location was once a site for pagan and shamanistic rituals.

Doctor Strange has taken great pains to safeguard the Sanctum Sanctorum and the ancient relics contained within. Powerful spells, drawing on the inherent magic of its location, ward it against mundane assault. Its distinctive circular skylight is, in fact, a massive Seal of Vishanti, protecting against supernatural invasion. Anyone able to breach these arcane defenses must confront the building’s confusing structure. The layout is far more extensive than its dimensions would allow as its layout shifts continuously like a living being.

CPE01 – Rival Panels: Spider-Man vs. Doctor Octopus$59.95

Spider man vs doctor octopus

Take the famous rivalry between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus to the table with the new Rivals Panels: Spider-Man Vs. Doctor Octopus character pack! In addition to being a brilliant scientific mind and ace freelance photographer, Peter Parker is the amazing Spider-Man, a hero who gained incredible superpowers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Swinging through the streets of New York on his web lines and wall-crawling his way to the scene of a crisis, Spider-Man arrives just in time to stop the plots of his nefarious foe: Doctor Otto Octavius!

As one of the Rival Panels, this kit offers up an iconic rivalry with some added scenic bases for display!
