New 40k rules for Inquisitor Erasmus Cartavolnus have been spotted all over recently, check out what he can do!
These are pretty complete rules, so if you’ve been wondering what he can do, this is basically all you need. These have been floating around the internet lately, which is always good for us!
He has some interesting rules and a couple of auras, so he should bolster your forces really well. Let’s first check out the model, then jump into all the rules.

The Ordo Malleus is dedicated to hunting and exterminating daemons wherever they appear, and Erasmus Cartavolnus has been doing it for over 300 years. Despite his advanced age, this zealous Inquisitor still strides the battlefield in search of daemonic quarry, and his knowledge of binding rituals is second to none.
This is honestly pretty cool with the huge flame exploding from the book and giant sword. While the pose itself isn’t super dynamic, all the extra pieces of flair make up for it.

It’s nice to actually see rules for him because a lot of times they don’t make rules for all these exclusive models.
Inquisitor Erasmus Cartavolnus 40k Rules Spotted!
Starting off, he has a decent statline but nothing too insane, however, a 3+ save and 5 wounds are nice. Then, his Force Sword is quite powerful, especially against daemons.
His auras are pretty nice as units can use his LD and Acolytes can add one to their attack rolls for both shooting and melee.
However, his biggest thing comes in with his Ritual Shackle power. Enemies will have -1 LD and -1 to Wound. So overall, some pretty decent rules for him and might make picking him up more worth it!
No idea on points but if he ends up being for matched play we imagine a lot of Custodes players will field him if he’s affordable in their army lists!
