Is It Worth It?
This box actually has great value! It basically gives you an additional 50% in miniatures (you get $223 in value for only spending $145), and for a GW purchase, that is honestly something special. If you want to play Overlords, this is a great way to do it. However, if you don’t want the Gunhauler, we would pass on this one, as that makes up $65 of the value.
Either way, this is a decent way to get an Overlord’s force on the table quickly if this is the only bundle you have access to.

What to Buy Next?
This one has a decent number of points inside, with over 500, so it’s a decent starting force. However, you still need a lot of combat prowess, more big flyers, and some extra toughness to hang onto objectives! Which means more Frigates and Arkanaut Companies.
Plus, there’s also all the new Null Khemist, Vongrim harpoon crew, Zontari Endrin Dock, and Vongrim Salvagers GW revealed, and they have a ton of character! So, we would grab those to really make your army stand out (plus, you know, GW is not going to make new minis bad on the table).
OOP 2023 Version:
The Out of Print (OOP) 2023 Kharadron Overlords Spearhead box was the sky’s little gift to new players. Released on March 11th, 2023, this set was packed to the brim with 15 models.
At a $145 price tag and an MSRP value of $238.50, it gave you about $93.50 in savings, assuming you actually needed everything in the box.

Final Thoughts on the Grundstok Trailblazers Spearhead
So it looks like the latest Spearhead Kharadron Overlords is kind of a steal. You’re getting a pile of plastic Overlords for $145, but they punch way above that price tag in value.
It’s got some curveballs—like only having 10 minis inside—but if you don’t already own them, it’s like winning a raffle where every ticket says “You Win.”
All in all, the Grundstok Trailblazers have the meat, the points, and the savings to make Kharadron Overlords players nod in approval. So, if you’re Kharadron-curious or just looking to bulk out your collection, this box is basically winking at you.
