The new Skaven Battleforce box release date is still TBD, but it will probably be on Black Friday, November 28th, 2025, like last year.
Similarly, we estimate the Skaven Christmas box retail price will be $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50, following the recent price increase (see below for local currency conversions).

Is The Skaven Christmas Box Worth It?
In terms of raw value, this has it! With over $140 in value, you’re basically getting two to three of the units inside for free, so if you need everything in the box, this is a great way to get a force on the board quickly.
Just a quick heads-up: this is pretty much a big slice of what originally came in the Skaventide box, with Stomvermin added in. Need Stormvermin? Grab it and call it a day. Don’t? Then this one’s not doing your wallet any favors
Either way, we just hope this one doesn’t vanish into the allocation abyss, and everyone actually gets a shot at it that wants it.
How Many Points Is This?
Based on the current edition of AoS, we would guess the Skaven battleforce points are somewhere around 900 points.
What to Buy Next?
You’ll want more bodies and more boom. Pick up a few Clanrats to flood objectives and protect your expensive toys, because let’s face it, something has to die first. A Warp Lightning Cannon or Doomwheel adds that signature Skaven chaos energy (and actual firepower) your opponents will learn to fear.
And if you really want to push the Skyre theme, grab an extra Arch-Warlock or some Stormfiends, they’re still absolute bullies on the table.

The Skyre Warpswarm box is everything Skaven players love: unpredictable, explosive, and packed with way too many rats. It’s a new player’s perfect excuse to start (or expand) your warp-fueled empire of chaos and bad hygiene.
Add a few more units, and you’ll have a list that’s equal parts deadly and hilarious to play.
Just don’t wait too long; these boxes vanish faster than a Warlock Engineer after a “successful” experiment.
