Let’s break down what’s on the horizon and why these updates will shake up your roster!
Updated December 4th, 2025, by Rob Baer, with the latest MCP pre-orders and roadmaps from AdeptiCon, Ministravaganza, and GenCon 2025.
Looks like MCP is about to get hit with the biggest wave of new miniatures from Atomic Mass Games yet! The new Marvel Crisis Protocol roadmap release schedule extends through 2025 and into 2026, and promises a boatload of new MCP models dropping soon!
Not only did crisis protocol get a huge roadmap, but also a giant restock list, which includes almost every character in the line! It takes some time to browse through, but you’re bound to find your favorites among them.
The new Marvel: Crisis Protocol rules update packs a ton of shake-ups, and the big change is roster-building. Now it uses five Secure and five Extract Crisis Cards, giving every match more variety and fewer repeat missions.
Priority rolls after deployment add extra tension right from the start, while Throws now deal a flat three damage, so players can load their boards with terrain without fearing instant knockouts.
AMG also dropped reworks for several characters, such as Dormammu, Emma Frost, and the Sentinels, tightening the balance across the board.
Toss in a few streamlined rules for beams, grunts, and passing, and it’s clear the game’s evolving toward faster, cleaner, and more cinematic play.

Marvel Crisis Protocol New Release Character Packs Coming Early 2026
Atomic Mass Games came out swinging with a whole lineup of new heroes and villains heading our way early next year. Iron Lad steps onto the table as a plucky mid-range fighter trying to live up to his namesake.
He’s joined by Rescue, who finally brings a true healing mechanic into the mix, letting her patch up your squad instead of just blasting everything that moves.
Kang the Conqueror headlines the wave, naturally, with time-twisting tricks that will make your opponent question reality.
Time to polish your gauntlet, because the Infinity Gems are making a comeback, again. Leading the charge is Adam Warlock, the shiny space messiah with a soul gem and more cosmic baggage than a convention of Celestials.
He’s rolling in with Moon Dragon, everyone’s favorite psychic space monk with a temper and a telepathic punch, and Quasar, the quantum-powered hero who proves that glowing wristbands can absolutely be a fashion statement and a weapon of mass cosmic disruption.
Then there’s Red Hulk, stomping his way into MCP with a grin that says “someone’s about to get thrown through a building.” He’s set to drop in a pack alongside The Leader and Sensational She-Hulk, turning the table into a super-powered demolition derby.
AMG is also updating the Sentinel affiliation with rules updates and new models. But don’t get too cozy, on the flip side, Bastion, Nimrod, and Omega Sentinel are also showing up, and let’s just say… things are about to get very intense.
If you like your mutants blasted instead of befriended, AMG’s got you covered. The Operation Zero Tolerance Crisis Card Pack dials the mutant drama up to eleven, giving your Sentinels everything they need to start hunting gene-traitors across the map.
The pack’s new Crisis Cards link together into a mini-campaign that replays the classic comic arc, complete with ambushes, captures, and the kind of overzealous government overreach that made the ‘90s X-Men so good.
Havok, Multiple Man, Jubilee, and Dani Moonstar crash into the game with mutant energy and a whole lot of sass. This is the kind of team that turns every skirmish into a spectacle and makes clean gameplay feel like a distant memory.
Character Packs Coming Late 2026
The second wave keeps the momentum going with even more comic book madness. Onslaught is on the roadmap, bringing pure psychic chaos to your Crisis tables.
If that wasn’t enough, Valkyrie returns on her winged steed alongside the Warriors Three, giving Asgard players something to cheer about again.
AMG teased that more Character packs will follow in similar bundles, mixing headline characters with key allies or rivals so players can grab a whole themed group at once.
While exact dates weren’t announced, AMG teased that this Marvel Crisis Protocol new release roadmap should start hitting shelves in the back half of 2026.
Think of it as the “phase two” lineup to follow the early-year stars, ready to shake up affiliations and add some real flavor to the roster.
Rounding out the lineup, Hulkling, Wiccan, and Speed are getting their own trio pack that screams “Young Avengers reunion.” Expect flashy magic effects, fast-paced team synergy, and plenty of dramatic poses straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon.
Dark Dimension Terrain Packs
No new minis are complete without something dramatic to throw them through, and AMG’s got that covered, too. The Dark Dimension terrain kits promise eerie skyscrapers, warped gateways, and plenty of weird cosmic clutter for your battles. Perfect for smashing, leaping, or hurling Iron Monger straight through.
Expect these terrain sets to hit sometime next year, right alongside the new character packs. Between the updated Crisis rules and the new scenery, MCP’s tabletop is about to look wilder than ever.
