Henry Cavill Knows Which Warhammer Army Sherlock Holmes Would Play

cavill-sherlock-holmes-warhammer-40k-armyWhile promoting the new movie, Henry Cavill let us know which Warhammer army Sherlock would play- check it out!

Henry Cavill has been making all the headlines recently with his Superman return announced (while wearing a Custodes t-shirt, no less) and then moving on from the Witcher. Enola Holmes II is his latest big project, and recently he sat down to do an interview, and of course, Warhammer is brought up.

Maybe the best part about this clip is the initial excitement when the interviewer asks the question and Cavill then totally baffles the reporter with a question about Leagues of Votann (we’ll get into why he was so confused).

Between the WWE and Hollywood, Warhammer seems to be quickly becoming more and more mainstream.  Check out more articles on Warhammer going mainstream below!

Nerdist did a recent interview with him about the movie, and somewhat surprisingly, the big question (at least that they aired) was about Warhammer, and Henry Cavill sure didn’t back down from showing his hobby love once more.

Henry Cavill Knows Which Warhammer Army Sherlock Would Play

It’s pretty awesome to see his body language change when Warhammer is brought up, and he immediately says, how good of a question it is. However, when he starts talking about Votann, he admits to not reading the codex fully yet, and asks the interviewer (assuming he’s a fan since asking the question) how they play.

Unfortunately, the interviewer didn’t write the question, and his coworker did. Still, a great question. If you guessed which army he would pick, you are probably right!

He chooses the Custodes (who he obviously has some serious bond with) for one main reason. They have a low model count, so you have to be careful with each body to make a plan work and play with some finesse. The only unfortunate thing is we don’t get much more talk about it as the coworker who wanted to ask the question wasn’t there. Either way, it’s just really cool to see him repping Warhammer and the Custodes once again!
