RUMORS: More New Primaris Space Marines Rules

chaos rumors new wal hor warhammer games workshopEven more rumors are here about the new Primaris Space Marines rules, including Brutalis Dreadnought and Primaris Desolators!

We heard rumors (and possibly a rumor engine) about both of these units for a while now, so it’s nice to get some more rumors supporting them! Before we go any further, we have to have an obligatory reminder.

All of these are just rumors, and take them with as much salt as you need because nothing is 100% before GW actually confirms it.

This is the second set of rumors about these new models, so we’ll compare them to see how they stack up!

RUMORS: New Primaris Brutalis Dreadnought & Primaris Desolators Space Marines Rules

These Brutalis Dreadnought and Primaris Desolators rumors come from Auspex Tactics and are sourced from Valrak and Tactical Tortoise through supposed playtest rules.

New Space Marines Rules LeakWe’ve been seeing this for a long time, so nothing too crazy. Now, let’s jump into the new stuff!

Primaris Desolators

New Space Marines Rules Leak 2These are the new rumors, and we have the older ones below to compare. This is the first time we saw the statline, which lines up pretty well with current models.

The point cost is the exact same as the older rumors, but the new leaks do add the amount of damage to what each shot will give. The last new thing is the sergeant gives one model in the squad +1 to hit, which lines up with how Devastators work.

Other than that, things line up pretty well overall.

Brutalis Dreadnought 3These are the old rumors, and they line up pretty perfectly with the new rumors.

Brutalis Dreadnought

New Space Marines Rules Leak 3The old rumors said the points would be similar to a Redemptor, so 190-200 points are basically perfect. Then, we got the statline, which is faster than the Redemptor and has another attack.

The Twin Icarus Ironhail Heavy Stubbers will get a ton of shots on the way in, and it would make sense for them to have the Heavy Bolters or Melta front mounted. Lastly, the melee weapons are a little different than last time.

If they can sweep and strike, they would really be combat monsters as they could get ten attacks base or go for the Strength 14 with re-rolling wounds, which would be really interesting.

Brutalis Dreadnought 2These are pretty similar, so it’s good to see two rumors confirm each other!

Lastly, there was nothing confirmed on the new primaris jump troops, and they think they will most likely drop with a Blood Angels release.
